The Deal

Betty wanted to say something but had no confidence. Such a handsome and wealthy man. He may be Prince charming to a lot of women especially Rita but he just wasn't her hers, if it hadn't been for Jeff who broke her heart she would have been moved by Benjamin's offer.

Betty shook her head "no this deal is ridiculous" as soon as she finished speaking there was a knock on the door and someone came inside "sir the breakfast is ready". "Come in Benjamin stood up, "don't be anxious to say no just think about it".

"I ordered this breakfast for you I believe you didn't have breakfast as you look weak" then without betty's answer he left the office. The chef pushed the breakfast in and when she gets close she found out that the dining cart were full of three different kind of breakfast. There Was Chinese, western and also Japanese. "I didn't know what your preference was so Mr Benjamin said to prepare a little bit of everything" said the chef respectfully. "What would you like to eat first" asked the chief.

Betty said uncomfortably "western Style". _okay" the chef answered and she took out a table from the bottom of the breakfast cart and put it in front of her then set the food in the order of sandwiches fried egg salad and milk.

Betty was really hungry when she saw the food she thought of leaving once she finished eating.

It seems as though Benjamin has an extravagant life, when she had finished eating the food on the table, the chef asked "does the miss need anything else? betty waved "No" her stomach was full of food. The chef tidied her things respectfully, she bowed to her and pushed the cart away.

Suddenly betty heard the phone ringing recognising that it was her ringtone she quickly took the phone out of her bag, but no name, her face suddenly cooled down. Her mood began to change again she felt herself becoming unhappy again. Hello what do you want? Ask betty she thought it was that mysterious man who keeps calling her phone.

"Betty you still have these bad attitude? you still haven't learnt to show some respect huh?

Realising whose voice it was, she suddenly took a tight grip on her cell phone and said "Mr Austin how dare you put my house for sale?"

"Oh why can't I sell my own things? You know that it is not yours" said Austin, Betty had never met such a heartless person.

That house was the only thing left by her parents. how could her uncle say Betty things were his? "The house that is in my hand it's mine" Austin seems to be very satisfied with Betty's reaction and he laughed loudly "some people cannot protect their own things they let them fall into others hands and then you have no choice but to decide what others should do with your belonging".

Betty knew she was still young when the house was taken from her she was powerless then.

You took everything fine but that house she will definitely get it back the house I'll get it back as for Austin I will make him pay for his crime betty was distraught after that she hung up the phone.

It took Benjamin a long time to come back when he did betty was burying her face in her palm and head down and her long thick hair hung down on her face Benjamin was unable to see her face suddenly she raised her head when she had the door open, Benjamin saw that her face was pale and her bright eyes was now red and her face was stained with mascara. She looked like she had already decided something.

Somehow when he saw her face he was apprehensive. throwing away his unexplainable emotions Benjamin raised his eyebrows and said "waiting for me?

"You", betty sighed trying to gain the courage "are you serious about what you said before?

He came and sat down beside her "of course I was serious" Benjamin's stared at her face he did not want to miss any of her emotions. "I can promise you" a slow smile attractively twisted his lips. "but please I still have a favour to ask" betty said. Benjamin didn't say anything his eyes were focused on betty and she knew he was listening.

Betty bit down on her lower lip and said "I don't need your money but I only need you to get my house back for me, it's expensive it could be worth millions" betty said very nervously, would her boss whom she didn't know well spend that kind of money? there was a sincere smile on his face and his eyes had and apologetic look on his delicate face.

He hadn't met anyone that has made him this happy in a long time, betty could see the expression on his face and she was worried that he had misunderstood her intentions.

Then she put her little hands on his chest feeling every bit of his heart she looked at him desperately and said "it's not really your money, the house is very meaningful to me I must get it back".

There was a different look in Benjamin's eyes.The little hand on his chest made his eyes widen and he began to tremble all over "I promise" Benjamin said in a low voice. betty was relaxed as she suddenly put her hand down "I promise you that after the ten months are over you will never see me again if that is what you wish".

The words coming from Betty's mouth suddenly darkened Benjamin's face. Why did he feel bad when she said she was going to leave me after ten months? Betty definitely could not guess what Benjamin we was thinking. Benjamin had always been soo cold, all the subtle emotions changes hidden behind his dark eyes.

Seeing Benjamin was not speaking she asked "what's the matter? There was suddenly a coldness that came over him, a coldness that most people could not approach.

"Do you already have a certificate? Benjamin asked "yes at home" betty replied. Benjamin stood up and said "let's go I'll drive you to get yours" betty was a little surprised "are you going to apply for it today"? "Yes" Benjamin said looking at her.

betty thought that it was going to be a fake marriage she didn't think there was going to be a wedding feast and no notifying relatives and friends she just bit down on her lips again and said "okay".
