"A business proposal? Benjamin smiled at Betty.
"Okay, let's hear it" he said and crossed his arms across his chest as he leaned back in his chair.
Betty smiled, "I have the details at home. I can talk about it tomorrow", she wasn't ready to talk about it that time.
Benjamin smile broadened. He said "okay we'll wait for tomorrow".
Betty nodded and started to leave when he called her again. "Betty, since you're still the head secretary, you have to perform these duties for now".
Betty thought she would go home after telling him that she can't be his secretary. But when she heard him, she gritted her teeth. He wouldn't let her off easily, she turned and asked "what do you want"?
Get me some coffee and also tell Rita to report to my office immediatetly. Betty blew out hot air from her mouth and went out to make coffee for him. When she was going out of the office she saw Rita, "excuse me Rita" Betty said calmly. "What is it? Do you want to humilate me now after stealing my position?" Rita said with gritted teeth.
Betty rolled her eyes, "Rita nothing was stolen from you, as that position wasn't even yours in the first place, but that's not why am here, I have more important things to attend to than fight with you. The boss is calling for you". Betty said and left.
Rita felt cold instantly, why is he calling for her, does he want to fire her? Many thoughts flood her mind. Betty left her and went inside the office, she dropped the coffee. "Here sir, I've called Rita I will step out now" she took a small bow and turned to go back.
Betty was about opening the door, but it suddenly opened. Rita was standing with a blank expression. Betty made way for her and stepped out. Rita slowly walked to the CEO,s desk she was trembling. "Yes sir, you called for me? She said in a shaky voice.
Benjamin looked at her with utmost disgust, "Rita! He called, "yes...yes sir" she starmered. "Now listen to what I have to say, the other night at the restaurant I decided not to talk to you there because aside this company, I don't know you and you don't mean anything to me. I have seen how you bully Betty many times and just watch you, this would be your final warning, the next time you bully her? Not just you but your family will pay for it" benjamin said without any ounce of emotions. Rita was scared, she had never been scolded by her boss but he even threatened her family? Because of that bitch? "Am sorry sir, it won't happen again" she said with tears in her eyes. Benjamin waved his hand signalling her to go. She turned back and wiped her tears, she doesn't want Betty to see her tears
She opened the door and left, and betty came in and saw that Benjamin was making a call he signalled her and told her to sit on the couch.
Meanwhile outside rita knew her mentor in the company would be able to handle Betty she called her mentor. "Madam there is a new bird in the office and she's trying to get very close to the CEO" complained rita to her
"Who is getting close to him? she demanded the name fiercely
"There's this new entrant called Betty Cruz replied rita becoming scared of her cold voice
there was a slight pause at the other end and then she said "what is she working as?
madam, the CEK had made her his head secretary but you are promised me that you would make his head whined Rita.
There was a long pause at the end and then she said "I'll be there in the next 1 hour" and the phone disconnected.
Rita smiled and looked at the vacant seat of the head secretary then she turned to Clara and giggled "wait till that betty meet the madam, hehe now she will know who she's dealing with. Clara giggled with her, satisfied at her next move Rita went to her desk and started looking at her computer screen.

Benjamin passed her a file to look at
"Open the first page" he said
She took it back on her lap and opened the first page.
"Read it he said" looking at her blank expression.
The page had a business proposal about setting up a software joint venture company with Victoria Empire. She look at it and was quite impressed by the way it read she became engrossed in it while reading, it was so perfectly detail that she became enticed with it she would have called the madevic corporation and okay the project theet and then.
"open page six. They have written some numbers there, read them out for me he interrupted her.
Dhe opened it and started reading them, but soon found out that she didn't understand anything about them
"Do you have a pen"? He asked
"Yes" she replied
"Take notes in there.
_ Unless madevic corporation reduce their number of shares to 20% he will not participate in it
_ Also tell them that the technology that will produce will become exclusively ours they won't be allowed to disclose it to the company.
_ I do not like the office size they are asking for tell them we need a bigger space
_ They should allow as many as seven people on their board of directors from our company.
_ They should revise their overall plan and send it bacj if they want to consider a joint venture.
Betty made all the notes diligently. Then she released that she had not ever told him half of the point that he had already mentioned, he didn't even write the entire proposal or was he trying to impress her by showing how well he had remembered all the points? Well he is the CEO, he have to remember all the things.
She looked up at him with wide eyes and found him having the coffee. the foam of the coffee had spread over his upper lip, what happened to his etiquette all of a sudden she thought, she moved to the side to pick a tissue paper and give it to him. Then she heard the door open and an elegant young lady wearing a white skirt and a blue top that hugged her body part sexily entered the office.
