Birthday Party Cancelled/Find Her Other Family
Over the month, Elena changed her scheduled and added more classes so she can finish early she told her family, so they had to cancel her birthday party, in order to finish early the school left her have no holidays only for New Years but was only a couple days even then she would be taking her exams. She and Ariel would practice every evening after Elena's classes, and as he promised Gabriel called every evening, he been busy with business trips trying to expand his company to different branches, he also went to see the girls like he said a week after they left for school. Elena and him had a birthday dinner since he will be working on her birthday, she told him it was okay because her friends well be coming that weekend to celebrate with her. Ariel took some classes as Elena's school because she wanted to help her family just in case her family were happy how responsible she is becoming by staying with Elena, Elena would also teach her on how to be a lady that she learned in school since Ariel only went for a few months. George called Elena about news he received about her mother's family they got a city so he, himself will be going to check himself, but Elena wanted to go with him, so after her birthday Elena asked to switch to online for the other few months that she will be away. They agreed since they didn't mind she was the top of her class and her family donated some money to the school, so did Elena when she saw the out dated books in the library. Elena's birthday past, she had dinner with her friends and she was surprise by Gabriel they spent the rest of the night together, she would go with Gabriel and met up with her father at the airport while they go to meet her mother's family.
"You nerves?" Gabriel said
"A little. What if they don't like me?" Elena asked
"They will love you, your their family" Gabriel said
"Okay, but I am still nerves." Elena said
"You want me to go with you?" Gabriel asked
"What about work?" Elena asked
"I can take them with me, like you taking your school work" he said
"I would like that, besides they probably will ask who I am married too" Elena said
"I will get a ticket when we land" Gabriel said
"Okay" Elena said
"Get some rest" Gabriel said
Elena nodded and she took a nap when they landed back home, John was waiting for them at the arrival area.
"Elena! Gabriel!" George said
"Dad!" Elena said
She hugged him.
"I miss you pumpkin!" George said
"Gabriel is going to come with us" Elena said
"I knew you would say that. I already have an extra ticket" George said
"Thanks George" Gabriel said
"Please, call me dad. You will be marrying my little girl soon" George said
Gabriel nodded his head, they went to the VIP area to wait for their flight. George ordered food for them.
"What city are they in?" Elena asked
"Country K, that's the information I got" George said
"What else?" Gabriel asked
"They have a company called Lillie's Corporation and Elena's uncle is running the company, he's grooming his son to take over" George said
"And my grandparents?" Elena asked
"Your grandmother and aunt run charities, your grandfather goes to the park everyday to play chest with the elderly there" George said
"Have your men made contact?" Gabriel asked
"I was able to get a meeting with Elena's Uncle the day after tomorrow, in order not to let them reject I used your father's name" George said
"Dad okay with this?" Gabriel said
"Yeah, he said as long as he can help" George said
"Flight 196, to Country K is now boarding" the PA system spoke
Elena finished her drink, they got up and took their things and made way towards the plane.
"Did you bring the albums?" Elena asked
"Yes, all Six of them" George said
Elena nodded, she held her fathers hand and gave it a squeeze she was nervous, John patted her hand and gave her a smile. The flight was long by the time they reached Country K, it was midnight they went straight to the hotel, Elena was jet legged so she slept half the day and felt fully energized. They stayed in the hotel the whole day doing work and homework they went out for dinner, everybody slept early that night since they would have a big day tomorrow. By morning Elena got up and got ready, she saw Gabriel and her father eating breakfast.
"Good morning pumpkin" George said
"Morning daddy" Elena said
"Come have some food" Gabriel said
Elena nodded and sat down, she ate her breakfast. When they were finished John's assistant told them the meeting would begin soon, so they all left the hotel and they drove to the company where her uncle was running.
"Just breath" Gabriel said
He can see how nervous Elena is, Elena just nodded her head, her heart was racing she was nervous and excited this was the first time in her first time meeting her mother's family in this life she never had the opportunity in the last life as well too. When they reached the front desk, they were told to wait and the boss will be coming down to greet them.
