The Conditions of Our Marriage

June was sitting by himself in the car when Huan's remarks began to weigh heavily on him. He couldn't shake the feeling of guilt and remorse for how he had treated Sushi. With a heavy heart, he realized the depth of her suffering and his own ignorance.

"Why didn't I see it before? How could I have been so blind to her pain?" June muttered to himself, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. He couldn't bear the thought of Sushi enduring such hardship alone, and he vowed to make things right.

As he got to Home, he carefully opened the sushi's room and saw that she is sleeping. He then apologized to her inside of him by giving her a pat on the head and walked out.

As June lay in bed, his thoughts consumed by Sushi and her nightmares, sleep eluded him. He tossed and turned, haunted by the image of her suffering alone in her dreams. Each toss and turn only served to deepen his sense of guilt and remorse.

Unable to bear the weight of his conscience any longer, June quietly slipped out of bed and made his way to Sushi's room

June hesitated for a moment, his heart pounding with uncertainty, before slowly slipping into bed beside Sushi. He moved with utmost care, mindful not to disturb her fragile slumber.

Gently, he tilted her head towards his shoulder, his touch feather-light as he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close in a tender embrace.

Sushi stirred slightly at the sensation of his warmth, she slightly opened her eyes looking into June's eyes.

"Y..Y..You again, you invaded my dream. Why do you never really care about me, except in my dreams?"

She approached him slowly, her eyes welling with tears, and kissed his lips. Then she embraced him more tightly, as though she were a newborn cuddling with a teddy bear."

After her kiss, June was so excited that he was immobile and his heart was racing so quickly that she thought it was all a dream. He smiled and hugged her more before he closed his eyes for sleep, mocking her behavior as she gradually drifted back into deep sleep.

As Sushi woke up the next morning, she felt a strange warmth enveloping her body, unlike any other day. Confused, she blinked away the remnants of sleep, her mind drifting back to the surreal dream she had experienced the night before.

"Was it just a dream, or did June really come into my room? Did I kiss him?"

With a sense of curiosity, Sushi slowly rose from her bed and made her way to the June's room.

As she turned the handle and peeked inside, she was met with the sound of running water echoing from the bathroom. It seemed that June was already up and taking a shower.

Relief flooded through Sushi as she realized that last night was just her dream.

As June descended the stairs and entered the living room, he was greeted by the sight of Sushi preparing breakfast in kitchen. A warmth filled his chest at the thought of her efforts, and he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of happiness inside.

Without waiting for an invitation, June took his seat at the table, his gaze fixed on the spread before him. The silence between them was palpable as they began to eat, each lost in their own thoughts.

Suddenly, June broke the silence by sliding a piece of paper across the table towards Sushi. It was a document titled "Two Month Agreement," and June's eyes met hers expectantly, awaiting her reaction.

"What is this?" Sushi asked, her brows furrowing as she glanced at the document before her.

"It's a two-month agreement," June replied evenly, his gaze unwavering as he met her eyes.

He continued, his voice steady but laced with emotion, "You mentioned leaving in two months, right? But why does it always have to be your decision over my life? You entered into my life without informing me, and now you're planning to leave as you please.

You can't just play with someone's life as you wish.

Sure, I'll let you go, but only if you satisfy all theses conditions for the next two months.

You asked me to be your husband right?, fine, I'll behave as your husband. Then be my wife, behave like my wife.

Think of this as your payback for betraying me." he concluded, his gaze unwavering as he waited for her response.

Sushi shocked at June's handwritten words and started reading the aggreement.

  Two Month's Agreement

1. Sushi agrees to behave as the wife of June for the duration of two months.

2. Both parties agree to have three meals a day together. Sushi should make breakfast for him daily.

3. Sushi agrees to abide by all of June's words and conditions during this period. Sushi must take June's side always irrespective of the situation.

4. Wherever she wants to go, she should take her husband with her. She shouldn't go alone anywhere.

5. Sushi should refer to June as "Hubby" in public and as contact name too, also as emergency contact.

6. She must refrain from looking at other men.

7. Sushi must always be by June's side.

8. Sushi will sleep in the same room as June for the duration of the agreement.

9. Sushi should not hide any secrets from June. Everynight Sushi should confess one secret about her.

10. Upon the completion of the agreement period, both parties must reach a mutual agreement regarding Sushi's departure. If any party objects to her leaving, she cannot leave.

Failure to adhere to any of these terms will result in the extension of the agreement by one additional month for each infraction.

Part A Signature, Part B Signature

 June

"Don't you think number 5 and 8 are necessary. We both are comfortable at our current situation", Sushi asked.

"If you don't want my forgiveness, it's up to you", June replied raising one of his eyebrow.

"And what about 6, when did I ever look at other men apart from you", Sushi implying that she always watched for him.

He with little smile, "So, you have eyes only for me?", he teased.

"Thats not what I meant..", she adjusting her throat and continued "Okay I will agree but if you change number 10 otherwise I will do as I wish", she thretend him with her gaze.

"Okay, what do you want me write there?", June taking out his pen and taking paper from her hand.

"10. Upon the completion of the agreement period, If Sushi wants to leave, she can. She doesn't need June's permission.", replace this, she mentioned.

"It's fine. I'll find a way to change her mind within these two months. But just in case, I've made some adjustments to clause 10," June pondered silently as he revised the document.

After Sushi signed the document, June swiftly rose from his seat and affixed the agreement to the cupboard beside the TV, near the calendar.

"I'll strike the days on the calendar if you behave well that day," he explained.

"But if any day is missed, the agreement will be extended by a month, starting from that day."
