The following day, I found myself in the heart of Tulsa, standing in front of the Ellison Office Building. I truly had no intention of seeing the old man at all, but I eventually gave up hope of doing so.

I attempted to get an interview in the building that was nearby, but I was not successful. The supervisor of human resources who interviewed me indicated that she did not think I was qualified for the job. They gave preference to someone who had previous experience working in an office setting.

I was in a state of slight depression as I strolled along the sidewalk, but then I noticed the Ellison Office Building, and I made the decision to give it a shot. I was in such a bind that I needed to find work so badly.
