When I walked out of the coffee shop, it was already twenty-two minutes after eight o'clock in the evening. I took a bus to get to the Broken Arrow neighborhood, where Rina and I, together with her mother were renting a studio apartment with one bedroom.

After I had settled into my seat on the bus, I quickly devoured the hamburger that I had purchased not far from the bus stop. Going to work every day, eating dinner and breakfast in the bus were things that have always been part of my routine. After finishing off my entire burger, I fell asleep quickly till I arrived back to the house.

When I opened the gate, I could hear Snow, who was clearly very excited, barking at me. Snow is my Belgian Malinois. After Marky and I ended our relationship, I was on my way to the bus stop when I saw Snow strolling down the highway. He was undernourished and hostile at the same time. It was very clear that he had been the victim of abuse.
