The Day Of The Ruins Explorations Arrives

DRIIIIIIIING

DRIIIIIIIING

The intense vibration followed by the ringing echoed throughout the four walls of the medium sized room as a golden light flashed through the room, a result of the golden rays of sunlight illuminating a pair of golden eyes.

Khan slowly sat up from the bed as his hands reached for the rectangular device placed on the bed.

Immediately his hands held it, the ringing sound stopped as Khan looked at the notification on the screen.

|Abyssal Core Guild: Mission Reminder|

|You have less than an hour to arrive at the Abyssal Core Guild. Lateness attracts punishment fees...|

Khan looked at the notification all signs of sleepiness fading away from his face after that as he immediately stood up from the bed moving towards the bathroom.

-- -- --

20 minutes later...

An image could be seen on the wall-sized mirror placed in the luxurious bathroom.

It was a young man, oval shaped face with golden hair and eyes, red lips and white face.

Putting on a regular T-shirt and dark panties. A bag pack could be seen beside him, a litty puffy revealing quite something was placed in it.

One look at him, and one would think he was a college student. Never would they believe he was an adventurer and placed in his back was deadly Techtools.

Giving a satisfied nod moving towards the exit, before giving one look at the room and heading out.

Immediately he stepped out down the stairs, right in front of his eyes was a group of three seated on the dining table.

They were none other than Mrs.Sophia, Lillith and Aurelia.

"And look who's awake..." Mrs. Sophia said beaming with a smile as she signaled for hik to closer.

"I..." Khan muttered with a slight frown on his face as he looked at his watch. He had around 35 minutes and the journey to the Abyssal Core Guild would take around 25 minutes.

Finally he obliged as he moved to the table taking his seat...

"Thank you Mr. Sophia..." Khan said with a smile before picking up the knife and fork.

"It's nothing..." Mrs. Sophia said with her usual smile.

"Actually it is..." The voice suddenly rang out as all eyes turned to look at Aurelia.

"I mean this is truly the last time you'll be having something "humane" in the next two weeks. 24 hours now and you'll be feeding on the legs of undead rats!.." Aurelia said drawing chuckles from Aurelia and Mrs. Sophia.

"And that's only if you were able to avoid being the "humane" thing those undead rats have eaten in a lifetime now..." Lilith said causing Khan to almost choke on his breath.

"Stop it you too..." Mrs. Sophia voice rang out followed by splashes of vegetables flying towards their head to which Lillith quickly dodge her head to the side while it suddenly paused in the air in front of Aurelia before moving towards her plate.

"Don't be offended, Khan..." Mrs. Sophia said as Khan shrugged it off.

"Thank you Mrs. Sophia. I should really be heading out now or I might be late for the mission briefing..." Khan said with a bow before slowly standing up from the seat.

"I've prepared the drive for you. Mr. Jim will be taking you.." Mrs. Sophia said drawing an appreciative bow from Khan as he slowly rose giving one last look at the family, his eyes staying on Aurelia for a few seconds longer before moving out.

At the front of the mansion, the pitch black SUV could be seen, as Khan walked towards it, opening the back door before entering into it.

In the driving sit was a familiar figure who started the engine as the car slowly moved out of the compound, followed out by a pair of moist pink eyes, yet soon disappearing from the sight of the eyes.

"Even though it's almost impossible, I wish you come back ok..." The whisper slowly dispersed into the winds as she slowly walked back into the house, her legs dragging harder on the ground than normal with her shoulder slumped down slightly lower.

On the roof of the mansion, a purple haired Lilith looked at the car disappearing into the distance, a glint flashing inside her eyes before snorting...

"What a suicidal Idiot..."

-- -- --

The dark SUV finally arrived around ten meters away from the huge gates of the Abyssal Core Guild.

Khan heaved a sigh of relief opening the car's door.

"Thank you Mr.Jim..." He said before moving towards the gigantic structure. He had received thousands of suspicious looks from the man through the glass at the top of the car's door causing him to feel so stifled.

Arriving before it, he entered into the place amidst the gazes of the official and non-official workers of the guild, maybe it was a figment of his imagination, their gaze lingered on him longer than usual.

Entering into the large revolving doors, he once again met with the familiar waitress as he gave a nod.

"The third floor, hall 107..." She said to him causing a nod from Khan who slowly moved on to the direction indicated.

"Is that him?" The words rang behind her ears as she gave a nod.

"Yeah."

-- -- --

Khan finally arrived before the iron door with the number 107 written at its top.

HUUUUH

Exhaling out, he clenched open the door before entering in and immediately a voice rang out in his ears.

" So this is the rising star of the guild?Coming just a minute from the mission briefing. The cocky one ey?" The voice possessing some degree of taunt echoed out as Khan finally closed the door before turning to look at the hall.

It was a medium-sized hall, a very high dais at its far end while in front of the dais were five seats, four of them occupied with one of them empty.

And immediately he headed towards his seat taking his space before giving a look at the others.

"Hi..."

Powerstones are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
