Clara's POV

We woke up in the middle of the night when we smelled some smoke surrounding our territory. Since we have the barrier, the enemies cannot come inside. Erik was mind-linking, someone, while I changed. Erik wore some t-shirts, and we both went to the throne room, waiting for the pack's report.

"Do you think it's them?" I asked nervously to Erik.

I am nervous about what is happening outside the barrier. We wanted to go and face the enemies, too, but Tia stopped us from going out. She scolded us and said trust the werewolves that we are ruling. We stayed quiet at her words since we both knew what Tia said was true. Our warriors all over the country are strong and dependable. We should stay here and await their report of victory.
