Chapter 8: Family reunion
The doors slowly opened up and before us, sitting on a large throne is the king of Asgard, my supposed father. He is what one would call a big man as he sat tall like a giant on the golden throne which I pity. He carries a very intimidating aura not just as king but due to his abnormal height, deep frown on his face and bulging muscles as he doesn't put on a shirt. He must be a great warrior kind of king. I gulped as my sweat dropped to the floor when faced with the piercing gaze of this man but on the other hand
"Dadddddddy!!"
My little twin sisters run over to him to him with no fear at all
"Hohoho, if it isn't my little twin cuteys, I hope you have been good"
"Hmn, hmn"
Pthuuuuu! I think I just spat a whole cup of mind coffee. Isn't this the intimidating man from before or S*nta Claus in disguise
"Hmm? Son? You're alive! Hahahaha!! Hahahaha!!!"
Heaaaaaa! Why is he laughing? It's weird.
"Hahahaha!"

"Just when I thought you would already be in a monsters stomach, you stand here before me hale and hearty so how did you do it? Did you give up on being an adventurer or did you let all your friends do the work? Hahahaha!"

"Yeah, you know big bro lost his memories and almost died from that cavern collapse"
Diamond reminded with her usual cheerful smile.

Intermission - ???
In a dark space, typing is heard and a sigh follows
"He's doing good but not good enough for what is to come"
Said a voice in the dark space
"Yeah, he has only gotten the weakest shield and his first skill, the only thing helping him is that he memorized the three strongest cheat codes"
Another voice said chuckling to itself
"Lets just hope he can do what the old man couldn't do so is his body safe?"
The 1st voice asked directed at the 2nd voice who replied
"Yeah, it's state is stable"
"What about the other ones soul?"
"His fine, Sheesh, don't you trust my sealing magic anymore?!"
"Ok, now let's watch as usual and see how things play out"

"WHAAAAAAAAATT!!!!"
The king roared shaking the whole room which to me is better than his mocking laugh
"I didn't know Satou lost his memories nor the cavern collapse! Why wasn't I informed!"
He yelled at a guard beside him who knelt down in a bow immediately and said
"I wasn't also informed your majesty"
The king gaze lingered on the guard for a while before turning over to Rabell and for some reasons, her cheeks are light red.
"Rabeeelll!!"
Huh, did she do something wrong?
"No, no I didn't forget to inform you, I sent Fang to inform you but I haven't seen him since"
Rabell explained while the king sigh
"Guards, search for Fang and bring him to me while son, I'm sorry for the loss of your comrades and I hope you weren't severely hurt"
When saying the last words consigning me being hurt, the king's tone became very soft, its feels weird but maybe he actually really loved his only son even if he defected from his royal duties. I wonder what happened to Satou's (me) mum, I'll find out from Rabell.
"Yeah, I'm fine, i luckily didn't get too hurt"
I said which the king nodded to and said
"As you don't remember your memories, I'll introduce myself, My name is Faret Asgard, your father and the 13th king Asgard, you will become the 14th, my son.
The 14th king, this is a very big responsibility on my hand but I don't want to be king, I want to go on an adventure and see this new beautiful world then find a way home.
"Consigning your amnesia, don't worry, you'll slowly remember your memories so why don't you come give your daddy a hug, I haven't seen you for so long"
What? I won't do that?
"Come on son, don't be shy"
What's wrong with this guy?
"Satou, it might jolt your memories back"
It was Rabell but I don't really want to hug him . . . . . It's weird but I'll do it for my harem!

I said walking over to him, I reach out to him slowly but he pounces onto me, I want to jump back but I refrain and that was the biggest mistake I have ever made in my two lives. This is no ordinary hug, this is a death hug!
