Chapter 4 : Saving Lisanna

1st Person POV:

It's been 4 years since I've left my mother. Life in Fairy Tail is good. I've quickly become friends with everyone. I'm always training my magic and physical body to get stronger. I've become good friends with Erza due to my calm attitude. Mirajane always tries to fight me but I can tell that she likes spending time with me. The only person I don't get along in the guild is Laxus. He started getting more arrogant as time passes. I've passed the S-class exam together with Erza. Natsu and Gray always try to fight me and I always use my hand-to-hand combat skills to fight them and gain more experience fighting with my body.

As usual, today was a rowdy in the guildhall. I've completed my solo S-class mission and tried to inform the guild master when suddenly a piece of news caught my attention.

"Man I hope to be an S-class Wizard as well. Mira took Lisanna with her to do an S-class quest. And I'm here doing nothing." said Natsu being depressed.

"Aye! I hope Lisanna brings me a fish when she's back." shouts happy. The blue-feline only has an appetite for fish I guess.

'So, this is the quest that changes Mirajane then. I guess I need to quickly track her. It's the only sure chance I have at winning her heart I guess.' I thought. I quickly approached Master Makarov to inform him about my quest for completion and helping Mirajane in her quest.

"Hmm... Aizen you can go and help her. She left just an hour ago. So, you can quickly catch up with her if you go now. Although I don't think it's necessary to go. She can complete the mission on her own." Makarov said.

"I'm having a bad feeling Master like I'll regret if I don't go now. I'm leaving now. Bye!" I shouted as I quickly ran out of the guildhall.

I quickly activated my magic Levitation to fly and used the wind to propel me forward at high speed. I tried to go as fast as possible. I just hope I'm not late to save Lisanna.

Mirajane POV:

This is the worst day ever in my life. Everything was going fine until the end. Lisanna went to help people evacuate, Elfman and I beat the beast till it was in the last breathe. I got careless and thought Elfman can take-over it but the beast quickly retaliates and took control of Elfman and started rampaging.

I tried to control it but I'm too tired to cast strong spell to knock it out. As Elfman tried to attack me, suddenly Lisanna arrived in front of him and tried to talk sense into him but I know for sure he can't listen to reason now.

"LISANNA! Get out of there now! It's dangerous!!" I shouted with all my might to get her out of there but she just stands there smiling at Elfman believing him to never attack him.

Then, suddenly Elfman raised his fist to attack Lisanna. I'm watching this happening in front of me unable to anything at all.

I feel so helpless now. I feel regret ever feeling arrogant at my pitiful strength that can't even save my loved one getting killed. I regret not having Natsu accompany me.

Tears started welling from my eyes as I watch Elfman trying to punch Lisanna.

When suddenly, a familiar voice sounded near me...

"SKY GOD'S BOREAS" the familiar voice sounded as a large black whirlwind hit Elfman and made him fly over.

"Thank God I arrived just in time." shouted the familiar brown-haired man I've to know for a long time.

Aizen POV:

"Phew! Thank god I arrived just in time." I shouted arriving near Lisanna.

"Now there Lisanna that was a dangerous move you made. You could've been seriously injured by that hit. Look at your sister, she almost lost her soul looking at you." I said pointing at the crying Mirajane.

"Sorry! I thought Elf-nii would get the beast under control," said Lisanna in shame looking downward.

"You can apologize later. Go take care of your sister. I'll take care of Elfman." I said heading toward the rampaging Elfman.

"SKY GOD'S DANCE" I shouted as I create two streams of wind from my hands and then send them spiraling towards Elfman, blowing him away.

Elfman quickly faints and undoes his transformation. I carried him like a sack of baggage toward the two crying sisters.

"Here you go. Thank god that I've arrived on time. Otherwise, your situation would've been much worse. Isn't that right Mirajane and Lisanna?" I shouted at them. It was way too dangerous this time and I need to get some sense into them otherwise they will keep making the same mistake again.

"Please don't shout at Mira-nee. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have arrived near Elf-nii." said Lisanna while sobbing.

"No! it wasn't Lisanna's fault. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have let Elfman take over the beast. It's all my fault this happened." said Mirajane as she started crying.

Seeing them crying melts my heart so I quickly hug them.

"Take today as a lesson. I was today to help you girls but someday I won't be there to help you. So, you need to be wise and strong. Don't let this happen again." I said comforting them.

"Um," Both Mirajane and Lisanna nods their head while sobbing.

I take Strauss siblings to an inn to rest. Today was a tiring day for them. I informed the mayor for job completion and take the reward money for them.

The Strauss siblings quickly fell asleep hugging each other. It warms my heart to see this scene. I left their room and slept in my room.

Timeskip Tomorrow:

We quickly left the town. On the way home, everyone was quiet. We took the train and arrived at Magnolia in the noon and started heading toward the guild. I left them at the guildhall and tried to head toward my apartment when Mirajane pulled my shirt. I quickly looked behind to see Mirajane standing there bowing her head.

"Thank you, Aizen! You don't know how much it meant for me when you saved us. I don't know what I would've done if Lisanna would've gotten hurt because of my carelessness. Thank you very much!" said Mirajane while bowing.

I quickly made her face straight toward me.

"Don't thank me Mirajane. We're friends, aren't we? Friends help each other in need, isn't that right? So, stop bowing!" I said to Mirajane stopping her from embarrassing me.

"Mira," said Mirajane.

"Huh?" I said confusedly.

"Call me Mira like others. We're friends, aren't we? So call me by my nickname like every other guild member." said Mira cheekily.

"You little devil! Don't copy my line." I said pulling her cheeks. She looks embarrassed by my actions.

"Awww... Stop pulling my cheeks or I'll kick your nuts," said Mira returning to her She-Devil character.

"Not my nuts!!!" I said as I quickly protect my family jewel. This She-Devil is famous for kicking guys nuts. I don't want to experience it.

"Humph! I will be in the guildhall then. See you later!" said Mirajane trying to escape.

"Mira!" I said calling her name.

Mira turned to face me when I ...

"Become strong! Don't let the past hold you back otherwise something similar may happen in the future. You don't want to let that happen again, would you? So, try to be strong, strong enough to protect your loved ones and never feel helpless again!" I said as I quickly left her there.

"Thank you Aizen" I heard a small mumbling as I quickly left and head toward my apartment.
