Chapter 20 Chaos

It had been four months since Zen had defeated the first floor boss. Currently Zen and Asuna were still together exploring this death game. Their relationship is also getting closer, even Asuna can be said to already have feelings for Zen.

Currently the two of them were top players and their party was following the takeover group, which was in charge of the vanguard to conquer every floor of the game.

The two of them were offered to enter a guild a lot, ranging from ordinary guilds to several top guilds, but they still maintained their stance, which was just the two of them.

"Have you guys still not changed your mind to enter my guild?" asked a player named Heathcliff, after they exited the boss room of the floor they had defeated.

"Then how about you Miss Asuna?, I will provide protection and ensure your safety and provide any equipment when entering our guild" Heechcliff asked Asuna.

"Sorry, but I still feel safe traveling with Zen" Asuna said with a refusing gesture.

"Then how about a duel with me Zen-san. If you win, you can ask me anything. But if you lose, you two must enter my guild." he offered back.

Hearing this, Zen just laughed at Heechcliff's attitude in his heart. Zen himself knew Heathcliff's true identity and therefore, it was impossible to defeat him as he would definitely use his admin authority to help him.

"Sorry, but I have to turn down this offer again" said Zen.

"Okay then, see you on the next floor boss raid" Heachcliff said leaving the two of them.

"Why does he keep inviting us, after all he has a lot of members and all of them are very strong players" said Asuna as she watched Heechcliff disappear from their sight.

"Perhaps, so that he can manage and supervise strong players like us" said Zen.

"I see... Then where are we going next Zen?" asked Asuna.

"Go see a friend" said Zen

"Seeing a friend? Who?" ask Asuna

"Kirito" Zen replied curtly

"What's wrong with him?, Is he having a problem?" asked Asuna.

"Maybe, come to think of it, how long have we not seen him?" asked Zen

Asuna then started to remember how long she hadn't seen Kirito, even though ever since they defeated the boss of the first floor, they had run into each other on every floor, even if they only saw her briefly.

"Hmmm... that's true. However, maybe he's leveling up somewhere?" asked Asuna.

"Maybe, but I managed to track him down and now he's on the 20th floor. Also, if you look at his name on our friends list, now his name has the emblem of a guild beside it" said Zen while showing Kirito's name on his friends list to Asuna.

"That's right, how did a solo player like him enter a guild?" Asuna said.

"Then let's have a look. At the same time we can relax for a while" said Zen

Hearing Zen's words, Asuna started to think about Zen's invitation to her but since she had no reason to refuse, Asuna then accepted the invitation.

"So when do we go?" asked Asuna after agreeing to Zen's invitation.

"Maybe tomorrow. And for today, how about we rest or we go on a date?" said Zen while teasing Asuna.

"Mooo... Don't keep teasing me Zen" said Asuna who was starting to become immune to Zen's seduction. But actually Asuna really liked the idea.

Finally the two of them decided to return to their inn and rest their exhausted selves from conquering the boss of this floor.

The next day, after Zen and Asuna finished their breakfast, the two of them then headed for the portal to take them to the 20th floor.

"Where do we go next Zen?" Asuna said

Zen then activated his tracking skill and started looking for Kirito's whereabouts on this floor.

"We're heading for Shunshine Forest" said Zen after finding Kirito's whereabouts.

Then the two of them started towards Kirito's whereabouts while defeating several monsters that were blocking their way.

After walking for a while, the two of them finally found a group of people fighting monsters here. That group was none other than the group that Kirito was currently following.

Zen and Asuna who saw the group, only watched them from afar.

"Looks like he's started to change" Asuna said and Zen just smiled back.

Then the two of them decided to go back and look for lodging in a city on this floor.

The next day, Kirito flewin and will lead the group leader to a portal. Kirito who was accompanied by all of his group, was now in a portal that would lead the leader to a floor to buy them a house.

After the group leader disappeared, a user from his group suggested they go hunting in several dungeons to earn money to upgrade their arsenal.

Kirito who initially did not agree with this invitation, was forced to follow their wishes.

But when they managed to conquer several dungeons, they started to get big heads and suggested entering the dungeon on the top floor.

Finally they entered a dungeon on the 27th floor. After they managed to defeat several monsters, they found a hidden door that led them to a room with a treasure in the middle.

Kirito who saw this, tried to block his friends from entering the room, but his actions were in vain after several of his friends entered the place and even opened the treasure chest.

"Use your teleportation crystals" Kirito said.

But unfortunately, that place is an anti-crystal place, so they start to get trapped and surrounded by some monsters. Seeing them being surrounded by many monsters, Kirito tried to fight them off.

But unfortunately, his friends began to die one by one because they were defeated by the monsters that surrounded them. And the last sight he saw was only Sachi he saw struggling.

"SACHI!" shouted Kirito who saw Sachi on the brink.

But all the monsters surrounding Sachi started to disappear one by one. Kirito who saw this then looked around, and it turned out that two people he knew had come to help him.

Zen and Asuna headed to Kirito's place in a hurry because they saw his name turning gray on his friends list for entering the anti-crystal place.

But unfortunately, they were both late and only managed to save one woman from this group. Without thinking Zen and Kirito started to kill all the monsters here while Asuna brought HP Potions and gave them to Sachi.

"Sorry for the delay Kirito" said Zen after they defeated all the monsters that were here.
