Ch 6- Seriously Harry?Again

So there was one less subject now on my list to deal with. Rest of the classes were chore to deal with though, in Snape's classes just follow the instruction he says and you will be fine and being in Slytherin helps so his classes were a breeze, Mcgonagall classes on Transfiguration were fair, she taught by the books and was pretty strict, though every lesson ended with few points deducted by her from both Gryffindors and Slytherin mainly due to some childish fight between Draco and Ron/Harry. Though she deducted more points of Slytherin and gave more points to Gryffindor.Though I am not good at it i think, it was difficult for me, the magic felt wrong half the time to me when i would try to perform the transfiguration.

Flitwick's charm classes were a surprise for me, I didn't even remeber that there was such a short teacher in Hogwarts, when i got to know that he was a Goblin then his height made sense, though i have to say he was the best teacher amongst the lot. He wasn't bias and taught with a certain flair that you find in a really good teacher. Though i had a lot of fights with Hermoine in his class. Flitwick was frugal with giving out points especially to those who could tell the theory as well as perform the spells easily.

In one of the class, Flitwick was teaching the Cheering Charm, and since i had recently used its brother tickling charm on Malfoy i was easily able to perform the spell in the first try which resulted in Flitwick awarding points to me.

"Hey Blake, help me." Notts told me.

I saw that many were suffering with the spell.

"Focus Nott, it's all about the intent, you want to cheer up the person you are pointing the wand at and follow my hand movement." I said while repeating my hand movements to Notts.

After a few tries Notts picked it up. I actually wanted to help more Slytherins but the thing was that they had too big of a stick up there asses to ask for help, and even i have some self respect, why should I go out of my way to help someone ungrateful.

"Umm,Blake, can you help me?" I found a girl with Slytherin robes ask me.

"Sure, you are?" I asked.

"Millicent Bulstrode" she replied.

I went on to teach her how to do the spell. It was easier for her to pick it up after my explanation. Mostly it was the hand movements that mattered, It was difficult to actually move and mix magic the way you wanted to, it was easy for me to figure it out, cause I was more sensitive to it. But for others it was hit and try, and keep trying till you find out how exactly you need to move.

"Five points to Mr.Rivers for helping fellow students."said Flitwick with a beeming smile, when he suddenly walked passed us.

Though i did get a few glares from the Gryffindors, I was pretty much stealing points from their young witch, Hermoine who normally used to steal away all the points. The Original Blake could have given her some competition but that idiot was just too much of a coward.

Same could be said for Lupin's classes, I now understand why he was one of the favourite character amongst the fans, he was a fun teacher, study didn't feel like studying in his class. He somehow made studying fun and he held no prejudice against any house, all were equal infront of him just like Flitwick. He was the kind of Teacher who was more of a friend.

"Hello Class,Today we are going to be dealing with Boggarts.Anyone know what a Boggart is?"

Hermoine's and mine arm shot up.

'Wait a minute, I am sure Hermoine wasn't in the class just a second ago, weird.'

"Yes, Ms.Granger"

"A Boggart is a shape-shifting creature that will assume the form of whatever most frightens the person who encounters it." replied Granger giving me a smug look.

"Yes, 5 points to Gryfinddors, And does anyone know the counter spell to it? Mr.River?"

" Riddikulus, sir while also thinking about changing it into something else, I would also like to add that if placed infront of a lot of people the Boggart gets confused about whose fear it should take the shape of." I replied.

"Correct answer and good elaboration, 7 points to Slytherin" I turned and stuck my tongue out infront of Granger.

"So the boggart sitting in the darkness within has not yet assumed a form. He does not yet know what will frighten the person on the other side of the door. Nobody knows what a boggart looks like when he is alone, but when I let him out, he will immediately become whatever each of us most fears, Wands at the ready."

And he let the Boggart out.

Everyone took their turns on the Boggart, facing their fears, changing it into something funny while casting Riddikulus, and ultimately it was my turn.

Mist rose and the Boggart changed into Me??

"You are not supposed to be here" It shouted

'That should faze me?' i mean i know i shouldn't be here'

"Riddikulus"I shouted while imagining it to change into a dog, and when it did i shouted, "Who let the dog out, WHOO WHOO WHOO". This got a round of confusion from everywhere around me. 'Well the reference is too early even for muggle borns.'

"Don't mind me i get a little over zealous sometimes." The class continued normally, Notts' boggart was his father who kept on saying that he wasn't good enough, Notts looked to have succumbed to his fear until i shouted his name loud and distracted him from the Boggart did he finally cast the counter spell.

I dont know what Millicent's Boggart was Remus was considerate enough to cast a privacy charm so that Boys don't see girls fears and vice versa.

Overall it was a fun class people were facing their fear with fun. Suddenly there was a drop in temperature, everyone felt it. We all looked to see Harry standing infront of the Boggart which transformed into a Boggart.

'Oh Heck, POTTERR!!!'

Lupin threw himself infront of the Boggart whereas I pulled my wand stood infront of Notts and Millicent and casted "Expecto Patronum" once again like the express mist came out, it was more corporal than before though i could still see no figure but either my charm was stronger this time or cause it wasn't a real dementor the Boggart flew back after which Lupin threw it back into the almirah it came from.

"I think thats enough for today" Remus said closing the Almirah, "Good work from everyone, and 5points to Mr. Rivers for excpetional charms display to protect others." said Lupin.

"Are you sure you are a Slytherin?"asked Millicent.

"Why?"I asked

"You covered Notts and me, any slytherin would have had first made sure that she was safe and only if she was sure that she is safe, she would have had even thought about protecting others." she said.

"She is right you know. Look at Malfoy and his gang all of them pretty much moved to a corner as soon as they felt something off" Notts said agreeing with her and pointing fingers to the group of snotty slytherin in the corner.

"Well Malfoy and his gang really don't set up a good image of a Slytherin, i think you can agree with me on it. Plus there could have been a real Dementor here and i would still not be afraid of it and protect you." I said so while giving them my best smile.

Hermoine came dragging Harry with her towards me.

"You really need to learn the Patronus charm Potter" I told Harry.

"Yes, thats what I wanted to talk to you about."said Hermoine."Can you teach Harry?"

"Well i have no problem teaching, i could probably teach you, Notts and Millicent too if you three want." I replied,"Though i have a condition which i will tell you later, So lets decide some place later okay, Hermoine?" i asked.

"I am sorry but i wont be able to join the training i am already too swarmed with all the subjects this year." said Hermoine.

"I already told you that you should drop Divination its crap, i don't know why you aren't following my advice." I turned to Harry and said,"Let me find some empty room and time and then i will owl you so we can start the training okay?"

"Ok, thank mate."

"Don't thank me yet, you still haven't heard my condition yet" i said while walking away with Notts and Millicent cause i was getting late for my classes.
