Reunited

They reached the ballroom. Mia was All alone standing there. She had a very bad face. She was searching for Jacob. Today was the engagement day of Mia and Jacob but the groom was not present in this important event. When the groom was not present there everybody started to gossip.

"Where is the groom?"

"He must have went to washroom.."

"I don't think so. Cause its been half an hour since he is not present."

"Did he left the engagement party?"

"I think so. He might think the Avery family is not worthy enough."

When Mia heard all the gossips she was angered to death. Even Mia parents was angry.

Just then Mias mom Cassandra spoke. "Who are you guys to talk bad about the Avery family. My son in law might have some urgent calls to attend. Hmph just because some people can't marry their daughters to the Adler family are jealous of us." She told them with a mocking smile.

The one who were gossiping couldn't do anything. They can't offend the Adler family.

Just then Jacob arrived. When Jacob came Mia and her family was delighted. Just as Mia was about to run to him she saw that his hand was locked with another hand. She was startled to see Cristina behind him.

Mia"you bitch why are you holding my husband hands? A lowly actress like you dare to touch him." She was really angry and was going to slap her. Before she could slap her. Her hand was caught. Cristina catched her hand. "Who do you think you are? Aren't you also an actress? Then that makes you also a lowly actress. And when did Jacob became your husband huh? He ain't married to you. And one thing i can touch him however and whenever i want cause he's my man."

Cristina was really tired of all this drama. She spoke her thought.

Jacob was smiling when he saw his love was fighting for herself and also because she claim that he is her man in public.

Mia was enraged by her attitude. She could hear some whispers among the crowd.

"Jacob is soon going to be my husband. Don't you have any shame calling others husband as your man. Do you really love to be a mistress. Do you like to become a third party between our love life." She said those words with a soft and innocent voice. Tears were falling from her eyes.

The crowd was pitying her. "She is really shameless. Coming to break an engagement of a couple."

"What a whore is she. Trying to climb the bed of someone's husband."

"Don't know for fame. How many time did she spread her legs."

They all were mocking Cristina. Mia was happy with the crowds reaction.

"Stop with your white lotus acting. You can fool the crowd but not me." Jacob spoke. He had a cool look in his eyes. "One bad word about Cristina and you all are done for."

Everyone was frighten by him. They all stopped gossiping. Nobody wanted to offend the Adler family.

George and Cassandra both went to their daughter side to support her.

Cassandra "I'm really disappointed by you Jacob."

George "I thought you loved my daughter very much and agree her to marry you. But you had an affair with another woman? You have brought shame to the Adler family."

Jacob just gave a smile. But that smile was very terrifying.

"Since when did I loved your daughter. Even if i die my soul will only love one woman and that is Cristina." He pulled Cristina towards him and kissed her. Everyone was shocked to hear his words but what really shocked them was his action.

Cristina felt the warmness in her heart when he spoke those word and his kiss. She was blushing.

Mia was really angry. She clenched her fist. She was very angry.

"I think you need to stop with your PDA." Lydia spoke from behind.

Cristina was embarrassed and hide her face in the shoulder of Jacob.

Jacob"humph single girl like you won't understand it." He smiled.

Lydia rolled her eyes and went to Mias side.

Mia was happy to see Lydia. She ran to Lydia and cried.

"Lydia look Jacob has broke my heart. He cheated behind my back. It's all because of Cristina. You must punished her." She said with tears in her eyes. She looked at Jacob and smiled. But Jacob was smiling at her. She had chilled down her spine when he smiled. His smile was somewhat like a bad omen.

"I'm done with your stupid drama." Lydia said with a cold look. Her look was very cold. The entire ballroom was shivering with her coldness. They all knew the young heiress Lydia. She can be as scary as her grandfather and brother.

Mia was shivering. "What are you saying Lydia? Yo.....you don't have trust in me." She said with tears in her eyes.

"There is no camera here. So you can stop with your acting." She said rolling her eyes.

Mia was flabbergasted." What do you mean?"

"I'm done here. I'm don't wanna waste my time with an unimportant person. Look the one who is mistress is you. You are the third party between Cristina and Jacob. And let me say one thing. Don't you dare to use my name to threaten someone." With this she started to walk out from the ballroom. She had this queen aura when she walked out from the ballroom.

Mia was left alone there. She couldn't even speak.

"To everyone here I love only one woman and that is Cristina. I will spent my entire life with her only." He spoke those words and left the ballroom.

Mia was totally with the event. Everyone started to get out from the ballroom. Nobody wanted to mess with the Adler and caralton family.

Mia and her parents was humiliated.

Just then Jacobs parents, Robert Adler and charlotte Adler came.

"You cant force someone to love you." Charlotte spoke.

"You ripped what you sow." Robert spoke. Then he catched his wife hand and went out.

That day was the end of the Avery family....
