Lydia woke up and continue her morning routine. She ate her breakfast and went to the office. Today she was going out with Cristina and she was excited. She wore a white shirt with black trouser. She tied her hair. All employees greeted her. She went to her office. It was 11 am and she had a couple of hours before going out with Cristina. So she look at some documents. She was satisfied with the result of their performance. Then she saw the document of Cristina's manager. She wanted Linda as her manager. She was a gold plate manager under her company. She managed china's superstar Nancy.

She called her assistant " I want Linda to come at my office."

" yes miss."

After a few minutes someone knocked at the door.

" come in"

" umm..president why did you call me." She was kind of nervous meeting her. She was known to be a devil. Lydia just looked at her coldly. "please sit down first mrs.Linda."

" ohh thank you."She was super scared when she saw her looking so coldly. They were true she's a devil.

Lydia:" I have called you so that you can take a new artist. She has a promising future."

When she heard it, she was reluctant. She hesitated for a while. Just then Lydia added "I Know a Gold plate manager like you can't just manage a new artist just by my request. But you can test her. How about she go and audition for the female lead of the movie white lotus."

When she heard it,she was quite hesitating to accept a new artist but Lydia did tell her to test her and that wont harm her anyway. She is curious about this new artist this devil chosen. And the female lead for the movie white lotus was vacant for many years, because no suitable candidates was there. She wanted Nancy to audition for it. But she was making a debut in Hollywood so she couldn't distract her. "okay president, i will test her. But if she can't pass the audition then I can't help you."

Lydia just coldly stared. " you won't be disappointed by her. "

" I hope so." After that she left the office.

Just then she got a call from Mia. " why is she calling me. Didn't she learned that I want to cut connection with her." She ignored the call but it was disturbing her. So she answered the call.

" Lydia, where are you. It's been a long time since we went shopping together. Let's go out."

Lydia had a cold look. If other's were to see her look they would be pissing right there.

" I'm busy." Then she cut the phone without waiting for her to answer.

In the other end, Mia was so angry. She even answered her call so late and hanging up on her without waiting for her to answer. She didn't know why is she acting strange. As long as she remember, Lydia would always spoil her. She would do anything for her. But what made her change so much. " Did she know that I'm using her. No that can't be because she is really stupid. What all she has is a title and wealth. But that all is going to be mine soon." She smiled wickedly.

Meanwhile, Lydia got another call from Cristina.

" hello, Lydia. I'm about to come at the mall. See you outside the LV store." She told hurriedly.

"Hmmm....I'm coming. See you there." She replied.

" okay bye." She replied and cut the phone.

She went to the elevator and went to the ground floor where her car is parked. Today she brought a BMW. It was not eye catchy but also very comfortable to ride. She got inside the car and drove to star mall.

It was located near to her office. So it took 20 mins to reached there. It was a big mall. It was the biggest mall in city A. Her brother was also the major shareholder of this mall. So she was treated with a great welcome. There were two assistants following her. As she was about to reach to LV store. She saw a commotion. She saw the follower of Mia. They were slandering Cristina.

"Oh my, isn't this the great actress of city A." One girl laughed.

"Oh my it is, why is she here. Don't she have a shooting to do." "oh no she must have came here to seduce another female's fiancée." The people around there could do nothing. Because they are the acquaintance of Mia.

Cristina was really pissed off. She was tired of this drama's. "At least I have some works to do. But you people only know how to lick others boot. Isn't it." When they heard it they were so angry. They might not come from a wealthy family as Mia but they still were powerful and a rich heiress. One of the girl named Lia cursed her. " We came from a prestigious family. While a whore like you only know how to snatch other's fiancée." Then another girl girl added " Can you tell me with how many man you slept with?"

Cristina was really angry. "Oh let me remind, who stoled whose fiancée. And I don't want to hear your dirty job." Lia was so angry. She never felt this much humiliation in her life. She was about to slap her. But a hand stopped her.

Cristina was waiting for the pain. She closed her eyes and counted but no pain was there. She was waiting and waiting but still she didn't felt the pain. She opened her eyes and saw Lydia. She was really happy.

When Lydia saw the commotion she was very angry. Just as she was about to enter. She heard Cristina fighting back. She was really happy fort her. She watched the show but that girl called her a whore she couldn't stand it and went there. As she was walking she saw her raising her hand. She was about to slap her but she catch her wrist.

Lia was infuriated by who had the gut to catch her hand. As she turned her face she saw the cold glance of Lydia. She was shocked. She was trembling in fear.

Lia" L-Lydia, what are you doing here. I heard you were busy." she smiled and called her name as if they were closed. When all the people heard her name. They were all quite shocked to see her. She was the precious sister of the ruthless king of business world. All would want to get a favour of her.

She ignored all of them and went to the side of Cristina. " are you alright."

When they saw her talking to Cristina, they were all shocked again.

" yes, I'm okay."

" good." She called the security and ordered them to throw Lia and her group.

When the group saw that the security has came. They thought Lydia was trying to throw Cristina out of the mall. But out of the blue they catch their group. Lia was shocked. " why are you catching us. You are mean to catch that bitch." When the securities heard,they were quite irritated. They were meant to catch them. They couldn't stand this bunch of spoiled ladies who always bully and orders other. " sorry miss we were ordered by miss Lydia to throw you out." When grouped heard it they were are surprised.

" Lydia, why are you throwing us. We didn't offended you in anyway. Did we?" She shouted.

" excuse me miss, Do I know you? You did offend me by bullying my best friend." This time the group was shocked to death. Did they hear it wrong? She just called Cristina her best friend.

Cristina was touched and flushed when she saw her protecting her. She was more happy when she called her best friend in front of all those friends of Mia.

Before the security could take them. Lia once again screamed. "You must have known that this bitch stole your best friend fiancée. Still you are befriending her. What a nice friend Mia has got. I feel bad for her."

She wanted Lydia to change her mind.

" yes you are right, she did stole my best friend fiancée." When Lia heard her it she thought Lydia regretted it.

" and the one who stole my best friend fiancée was Mia. And you don't have to tell who to make friend with." When the group heard it they were all surprise. All the people surrounded now knew who stole whose fiancée. They were all gossiping about Mia. The manager of the star mall had came when he heard that the devil has called him.

"Good afternoon miss." He greeted her while bowing 90 degree. He had to respect her.

"Throw them out and I want you to put them in the blacklist of the mall." They were already humiliated but also got no right to come at this mall at future. They were all embarrassed. The people surrounding there was also a member of a prestigious family but no one could compare to that of the Carlton. They were happy they didn't offended Cristina.

He did what the miss has told. He felt bad for them but that was karma. They always used to make a commotion in the mall and they couldn't do anything cause they were from a big family. But now from todays incident they are gonna face from crisis in their company. Nobody wants to make enmity with Carlton family.

After all the commotion, both Lydia and Cristina went to the store. They were greeted by the manager and the assistant. They walked to the vip section. This was Lydia's Own store and only the manager knew it.

There was 2 dress in the vip section. She told the assistant to wrapped it. Cristina could not even looked at the dress. Lydia asked her home address.

"Umm... I could not even see the dress and you let them packed it. And it must be expensive." She said while looking down at the floor in a low voice. Lydia chuckled. " This store is mine and I designed the dress for our party tomorrow. Have a trust in me dear." When Cristina heard it she was surprised. She couldn't believed that the mysterious designer who owned a lot of awards and had a various branch whole over the world was none other than her best friend Lydia. She made a big O face. Lydia laughed at her reaction.

" Oh my god, what did I do to get such a talented girl as my best friend." Lydia just smiled.

" anyway I don't want the free dress. I want to pay for it." She felt bad that she couldn't pay for it.

" no I don't need a pay. What I want is you to endorse my brand after your arrival at my company. You know that I don't have any model to endorse it." Cristina was surprised. People would wait for a long line to get the endorsement of this brand while she got it for free. She was hesitating but Lydia pleaded her. And she couldn't say no.

After shopping they went to a restaurant. That restaurant was popular. Getting a table here was quite hard. When they got inside they were greeted by the manager of the restaurant. He was Neil, he was the grandson of the head butler Noah. He took them to their room. When they were walking to their room, Lydia bumped with a man. She apologised and went her way. She sensed some warmth in her body after bumping with him.

After bumping with her he could smell her jasmine fragrance. He wanted to kiss her right there but he controlled. When he heard her voice he was lost in his own lala land. When she went away he was sad.

" we are gonna meet soon my dear."

She sneezed. "Are you alright, Lydia."

"Hm.. I'm fine." They ordered some food.

"Cristina, I found a manager for you. But she said she will take you if you will pass the audition of the female lead for white lotus." When she heard she was startled. She believed in her skill but still she was not confident. Lydia understood her. She comforted her. "You can pass the audition. I believe you. The audition is next week. You still have time to practice." When she heard her comforting her. She felt happy and her confidence level increased. "Okay I will not disappoint you. And tomorrow is a big day anyway."

She said while grinning. When Lydia saw her grinning she smiled. They ate and went to their home.

Lydia reached her home and washed herself and went to her balcony. Cold wind passed her shivering her.

But still she remembered the warmness from that man. She touched her heart it was beating so fast.

She couldn't sleep. She slept after an hour....! !
