Glory

It was morning. Birds were chirping waking Lydia. Curtains of the balcony was opened so the sunlight hit her beautiful face. She opened her eyes. Her eyes was deep blue just like a ocean. She went to the bathroom and washed herself. She was refreshed. She wore her workout clothes and went out. There was a gym in the mansion. She went there. Her Brother used to come here but now he got his own house, he rarely come here. She worked out and went back to her room. She bath and went to her closet. She wore a black A-line strapless slit long dress. It showed her beautiful curves. She tied her black shiny hair in a ponytail. She looked in the mirror and was satisfied by herself. "Oh my my I look like a powerful businesswoman." She thought to herself. She went out. She saw her two assistants waiting for her. Lily and Rose "good morning miss." Lydia "good morning." She went to the dining table and saw her grandpa.

Lydia"good morning gramps."

Grandpa "good morning Lydia. Did you sleep nicely."

"Yes grandpa, how about you grandpa."

Grandpa " me too. "

Lydia " umm grandpa, I have bought a apartment. So I will be leaving in there next week. I wanted to tell you beforehand." When he heard this he was quite sad. He didn't wanted her to go but they have their own lives to live so he could only let her go. " hmm..okay. I won't stop you. But you must visit me every week. Otherwise I'm not agreeing." He commanded. Lydia was happy that he agreed. She know he is sad but she had to start her plan so she cant stay in the mansion. "Thank you grandpa for understanding and I will promise that i will meet you every week." She said while smiling. "Keep your promise young girl." "I will." They both laughed and eat their breakfast happily. After eating she bid goodbye to grandpa and went to her car. A Black Bentley was waiting for them. It was a limited edition. She loved cars and she had a lot of car collection in the mansion. Lily drove the car to the company.

Emperor entertainment was located in city A. It was 10th story building. She told her brother to build this building after her reborn. And it was her first time coming here. She took care of all the documents and project of the emperor entertainment in America. She did the important meetings via video calls. So all the board directors knew and recognised her. They respected her cause she put this entertainment as the top entertainment of china within 3 years. She went inside the buildings. She took the private elevator only for the president. The office for the president was located at the top floor. So she went straight to the office. Many employees recognised her and greet her. Every one knows the princess of the Carlton family and they wouldn't dare to offend her. She was also a called a ice princess. Just like her brother she was ruthless and cold to everyone. They would tremble in fear when they see this siblings. Unbothered by all the trembling and fear looks, she went to her office. Her office was spacious room. There was table just beside the windows. There was small table and sofa in the corner of the room. She sat on the chair and called lily. Lydia "what is going on between Jacob and Cristina."

Lily"they broke up."

Lydia clenched her fist.

She was angry. "Was it done by Mia?"

Lily " yes miss, she threatened miss Cristina by your name."

Lydia was angry to dead. "and what about Jacob. Does he know it?"

Lily"no miss,he still don't have any clue about the reason behind their break up."

Lydia:"indeed a pain in the ass. Is there anything else."

Lily :" yes miss, recently miss Mia is threatening the movie directors and producers for miss Cristina to get any contract. She even kicked her out from her company."

Lydia:"and don't tell me. She used my name again."

Lily:" yes miss, she used your name to kick her out." Lydia was losing her patients. "Send Cristina a contract to our company. Manage her the best manager in our company. I want it to be done in 1 day."

Lily:" yes miss." With this she went out of the office.

Lydia still remember her face who helped her to show the real face of Mia but she didn't believed her and only pushed her to the darkness. This time she will help Cristina to get her love back and make her go back to her former glory. There was fire burning in her eyes.

In the busy city of America, A man was drinking wine. He was very gorgeous. His cold eyes could shiver people down their spines. He was none other than the king of underworld and a business tycoon Louis saint. There was a man trembling down begging for mercy. He just said one word to his assistant"over." This one word was like a gun hitting him straight to his heart. He was trembling. Assistant cheng could only sigh and pity this guy"who told you to hurt the future lady boss."

Louis stare at a photo in his mobile. That photo was of a girl who was at teen. She had a angel like face, with a beautiful deep blue eyes and a beautiful curve. She was wearing a floral dress. She had a big smile in her face looking at the camera. There was a faint smile in his lips. He was a smiling. He thought to himself "soon you will be mine Lydia dear, I'm coming to you soon."

Somewhere in the top floor a girl sneezed. "Is someone missing me or cursing me." She thought to herself. It was lunch break, there was knock in the door. "Come in." Lily came inside. Lydia " is there any news?" Lily "i sent the contract to miss Cristina. She wants to meet you in personal." Lydia was glad to hear that she completed the task way to fast. "Okay tell her too come to my office. And good work." Lily :"yes miss,it was my job miss." Lydia:"hm....."

After a minute there was a knock in the room, Lydia knew who it was. " come in."

When Cristina heard the offer, she was happy and delighted. But she never thought that the one who will help her was none other than her rival best friend. Even though she knew that Mia was just using her and she has got a chance to tell her true face. But she was worried that she wont believe her. Anyway who would believe a stranger words. But she would say everything to Lydia. She was confident. But when she reached the building she was super nervous. She even was trembling when she started to reach her office. When she reached her office and heard her calm and soft voice her nervousness was gone.

When Lydia saw her she was happy. She smiled at her. Cristina was shock to see her smile. It was not like the rumour. They said she was a devil. She was ruthless and cold like her brother. But she was the complete opposite of the rumour. She was sweet and so innocent. Cristina couldn't help but blush.

When Lydia saw her blushing she couldn't stop smiling. She broke the silence. " hello mrs.Cristina. It's nice to meet you. I'm Lydia Carlton. President of emperor entertainment."

Cristina hurriedly opened her mouth " oh I'm so sorry for my rudeness. I'm Cristina Adair."

Lydia:" oh it's okay." Cristina was smiling from ear to ear.

Lydia" you must have heard my offer. I want you to join my entertainment. Are you willing to come to my entertainment." When she heard the offer from her mouth she was very happy but she wanted say something before this "excuse me mrs.Lydia I..I...want to say something before this."

Lydia "ohh you can just call me Lydia. I would be glad to hear it."

Cristina" oh.... yo..you can also just call me Cristina."

Lydia" anyway what do you wanna say to me Cristina."

Cristina" I think you know the grudge between me and your best friend Mia. I love Jacob. Jacob is the fiancée of Mia. I didn't mean to take others fiancée but they were not engaged while we were dating. She -she forced Jacobs family to arrange their engagement faster. But Jacobs parent was happy for him and me but she...she....used your name and threaten them. They had no choice then to arrange the engagement. I know it's my personal issue and i should solve it but I find it very despicable of her to use your name and influence others. She is just...jus..." before she could complete her sentence Lydia stated " using me isn't it."

Cristina felt bad. " I didn't mean to hurt your feelings but this just isn't right. A nice girl like you don't deserve that evil girl as a friend. " she was very scared. Lydia stared to smile. Seeing her smiling confused Cristina.

Lydia"I understand, i knew it all along but thank you for telling me." She smiled so brightly. Cristina once again blushed.

Cristina"no problem. I'm happy that you knew her true face."

Lydia "yes.... I'm glad that i met you. Can we be friends." Cristina was shocked and happy to hear it. Tears started to fall from her eyes. " yes I'm glad to have a friend like you." Lydia was very happy.

Lydia"me too. Ohh are you free day after tomorrow?"

Cristina" yes I'm. But why?"

Lydia"we are gonna crash someone's party." She winked. Cristina was startled. She knew what was day after tomorrow. It was the engagement party of Mia and Jacob.

Lydia:"tomorrow we are going shopping.lets meet at star mall at 1:00 pm." Cristina was once again startled. She agreed, they exchange their numbers. Lydia called Lily to call the chauffeur and drive Cristina back home. She declined by saying she will go by herself but Lydia insisted her. So she agreed and they bid goodbye. It was a long day. She went back to the mansion greeted her grandpa. Her brother went back to his house. She went straight to her room. She washed herself and wore her favourite yellow pajama and went to sleep....zzzz....zzzzz....zzzzz...zzzz
