Chapter 21. Hindsight Is Valuable-2

"She is locked up like this..." He corrects. "Because rogues are a stain on lycan society. Pitiful, weak werewolves that don't make the cut in a real pack. I caught this one myself, Aly."

Tapping his knuckles against the thick pane of glass, the werewolf unexpectedly snarls, leaping in Kurt's direction. Restricted by her shackles, she stops short, inches from the glass. Kurt begins to cackle wildly, enjoying the sight of the she-wolf growling and spitting towards him.

With shaggy, brown fur and eerie black eyes, she begins to foam at the mouth like a feral animal. Never have I seen a werewolf so unleashed. The shackles begin to creak dangerously, a sign of the sheer strength this tiny wolf seems to possess.

"She knows I'm the Alpha. That's why she's going for me." He explains haughtily. "In this state, they pick a fight with the most senior wolf."
