A moment of reconciliation part two

Hua Wumian guided Hua Ming down the stairs.

Everyone could see that the old man was extremely happy today.

Wang Shan smiled as she rushed to the old man side, she acted the role of a loving and caring daughter-in-law very well, even Hua Wumian had to praise her.

"Xiao Mian I didn't think you were going to come..."

Currently they were then center of attraction to everyone heard Wang Shan's voice.

"Did I ever missed this dinner...."

Wang Shan shook her head, her eyes flashing with cold viciousness.

"Of course not..you know six months ago, you vowed never to come here again. Ai Ai what am I saying it's do that you're here, come sit with grandpa."

Hua Wumian sneered in her heart but maintained the smile I her face.

"I was foolish..now I've learned over the past few months.."

Hua Wumian said only a few words, making it hard for Wang Shan to attack her.

In the end she only smiled and returned back to Hua Mocheng side.

Slowly everyone took their seats in the dining table, Hua Wumian sat on Hua Ming's right had while Hua Doukou sat on his left, and next to Hua Wumian was her aunt, her father's younger sister.

"It's good that you're back...how have you been..."

Hua Xiaoying smiled as she passed the bowl of lotus seed paste bun over to to Hua Wumian.

"I'm going great, but not necessarily apart from grandpa I have no one else here..."

Hua Wumian said blandly as she stuffed the lotus seed paste bun into her mouth, at least the cooks in the mansion were good.

Hua Xiaoying frowned slightly, how could her brother leaving such amazing people and be with those brats.

"So Doukuo how's work, I heard your company was one of those selected for the annual fashion auction event, coming up in august.."

Hua LinYi replied as she turned the focused of the room back to Hua Doukuo.

"Yes you're veery correct auntie LinYi, it's a big honor for the company.."

Hua Doukuo spoke softly..with a proud smile on her face, she glanced at Hua Wumian from time to time and found out her expression did not change, not even a crack.

"Sister what about you..how's sunshine of the heart lately..."

Hua Doukuo redirected the attention back to Hua Wumian again.

"Oh you know...we've moved up to the top ten in the business billboard, so we are on the steady track..."

Hua Mocheng was dumbfounded as he quickly arranged his expression, it took them years to get the company to top five yet it took her only six months to enter the top ten.

"So quick...how did you do it..."

Hua Wumian uncles and other men in the table, immediately focused their attention on her.

"En I guess it just runs in the blood.."

Hua Wumian uncles nodded what she was correct, wasn't her mother's company in the top three in the billboard.

"What about Wang Shan..what does your mother do eh Doukuo.."

Hua Doukuo clenched her fist slowly under the table, somehow the tables suddenly turned against her.

"Mom's has a weak body, so she can't work.."

Hua Doukuo said softly as she got up from the table...

"I have to go now....fashion auction is very close and I have to make sure that everything is in order..."

Everyone nodded no matter how His Doukuo tried, Hua Wumian was still the number one in the family.

Wang Shan smiled coldly as she coughed slightly, no matter the situation she never forgot to keep her cool.

"Come rest..your body's not too good..."

Hua Ming nodded and waved his hands, he didn't really like this daughter-in-law of his, he still preferred Bai Zhi.

"Hua Wumian you'll stay over right...."

Hua Wumian shook her head, she herself guarantee that Su liangxiao would be by her side the moment she open her eyes the next day.

"Not today..."

Hua Wumian found this mode of conversation very efficient.

"When will you be staying then...."

Hua Wumian did not guarantee she would personally come and stay overnight in this house.

"Soon.."

Hua Wumian stood up from the table, she only waved Hua Xiaoying and grandpa Ming goodbye, gave Hua Mocheng a light nod and strutted out of the house.

Hua Wumian took a deep breath the moment she came out of the house, the air there was too heavy.

She got into her car and drove back to Xia gardens, during the car ride she took a lot about herself and her life.

She was married now and soon the elders will be asking for their grandchild, but Hua Wumian couldn't give birth when Hua Doukuo was still roaming around, she needed her child to be safe, and that meant Hua Doukuo had to be out of the way.

Hua Wumian sighed softly..

"deep breaths..one step at

time..." the first step was to beat Hua Doukuo at her own game, which was defeating her in both the entertainment and fashion industry.

The next time was to make the Hua family lose trust in her, losing trust also meant losing backing.

Then the third and finally step was telling the whole world the truth and bringing justice to herself and other people affected by Hua Doukuo.

"One step at a time..."

Hua Wumian motivation herself as she drove down to the house, humming the soft song in the radio.
