As life goes on, we change slowly with it. We make our choices they can be good or even bad. But maybe at times, we make the worst decision ever. I knew they had made the worst choice when I heard those words from my mother's lips. I snapped at her, " What do you mean? I refuse not to fight for this kingdom. I will not shy away like some coward in a mask."

My father the king echoed in a frightful tone, " Watch how you speak to your mother. I must add we are not cowards. We are not prepared for this fight. With what resources we have left it is slim to none." I asked, " Then let me out there. I still- I had my wings, you keep them hidden. Let me fight for our kingdom. Just this once please father. If I dont help fight for this kingdom then will you?" His eyes stared deep into my soul with this hollow feeling.

" Do our kingdom justice. Just please don't die." A smile grew big across my face and my heart became full of a warrior's heart. "I won't let you down, father." I ran to my room grabbed my armor and gear, and quickly threw it on. I grabbed my sword and I have been waiting for this day. And that day is today to show this kingdom I am not just a princess waiting in a tower, but a warrior that will fight for her kingdom.
