" What was what, she said she was bored and she wants to play with us" I said

" Are you this innocent or are you pretending to be?" He asked

" It's your problem that ladies are all around you so don't add me into it" I said clearing the empty plates

" You're my wife, so of course it's your problem if girls are after me" he said holding my hand stopping me from leaving

" Oh, I totally forgot we're married. Sorry, that I was tricked to marry you" I said

" What's with the new attitude?" He asked dragging me towards him and I fell on him and the plate fell from my hand but he caught it right on time.

" Let go of me," I said as he wrapped his hand around my waist

" You're so careless" he said looking into my eyes.

" Now you're blaming me for your mistake" I said breaking free and walking out angrily.

" What's up with her?, She was acting shy a moment ago" he thought.

I went to the kitchen to do the dishes and I pursed a little thinking why I reacted that way. I only get angry with someone if I'm jealous or hurt. But I can't be jealous of an ordinary ex girlfriend of my husband. I wonder what he will think of me. I quickly finished the dishes and went upstairs to meet him but he wasn't in the room. I turned to leave and the bathroom door opened and I saw him standing at the door with a towel wrapped around his waist and water dripping down his upper body which was exposed. His wet hair sticking to his face complimented how hot he looks. I was staring so much that I didn't know when my chin dropped

" What's the matter?" He asked walking up to me and closed my mouth

" Um... I ... Actually I came to apologize for my attitude earlier" I said

" It's okay, any other girl in your place would have done the same" he said and my face started turning red in anger. What does he mean by any other girl.

" I mean, you're my wife and the only girl in my life for now" he said noticing my mood swing

" For now?" I asked

" I mean forever" he said

" Forever?"I asked

" Why don't you get some rest" he said sliding into his night robe

" I asked them to change your closet to the clothes you want" he said

" Thanks" I said

" I'm your husband, I'm not doing you a favor it's my duty besides I already told you that before" he said

" On a second thought I think I'm okay with it since you said it looks good on me" I said and he smiled

" Okay" he said and I went into the bathroom to freshen up.

I came out few minutes later and I got a call from Max, he's my ex fiancee who mum chose for me but he cheated not once not twice nor thrice, it's uncountable. Yet, he still disturbs me to give him another chance.

I ignored it and slid in my night wear but he kept on calling.

" Won't you pick up?" August asked sitting on the bed,his back resting on the wall, as he was going through his tab

" It's just some one not important" I said but he kept on calling and I noticed it was disturbing August so I switched off my phone and he called me other phone he gifted to me in my birthday.

" What is it!" I asked finally picking up

" Dear, I am having a party at home tomorrow night and I want you to come over" he said

" Max, I'm not coming and stop disturbing me" I said

" Are you still angry at me?" He said

" Stop all these, I'm not interested in this" I said

" But your mum just collected a sum of ten million for you to attend the party, I even sent you a dress" he said

" Take back your dress and your money"I said

" Your mum also told me that if you still consider her your mother you should attend" he said and I looked at August who was listening to everything as it was on speaker

" See you there then" he said before hanging up

"Darn it!" I cursed
