"yeah it's only like a week."

"So did your mom ever write back? "

"yeah."

"so are you a Vampire?"

"really? I thought you were part wolf after seeing your father in the memory."

"so I what do you consider yourself?"

"A witch, since all powers come from us to start with."

"far enough, that will make introductions easier"

"well not all people are ok with Vampires in my family, and introducing you as part vampire would have made it awkward, for them and you. I'm glad, you have chosen to identify as witch. "

"had I said Vampire would you introduce me as such."

"I'm glad I don't have to worry about it."

"so that's a no," I laughed, " it's ok I'm not offended, I understand your past."

"thanks, so let's go then."

I fallow him out side, there is a car waiting for us.

Its a nice stander size car. We start our journey to his house. It's a long drive. We have been driving for hours. I've been drawing during this trip. We have been talking about random stuff.

"so have you learned any new powers?"

"yeah, I have. Some of them I can show you in the car. Do you want to see?"

"yeah, sure."

"so I've learned to change my appearance."

Just for effect I hold a piece of paper between me and him. I'm going to scare him. I turn my eyes red, let my teeth become sharp, make my ears pointed, make my hair short and red. Then quickly I lower the paper.

"What the fuck!!!!"

I laugh shacking my head quickly returning to normal. Although I leave my teeth a little pointy.

"so the hair is just for show. if I move to fast or you touch it, it returns to normal. I'm working on fixing that but the eyes and teeth are real, I can also have my eyes bright green at night, like night vision. I feel like the teeth are closer to yours then Alex's. see? "

I open my mouth just to show my teeth he looks closely, rubbing my lip softly as to get a better look. As he touches my tooth I feel a drop of blood. The smell and taste. It's so hard to avoid, I want more, but I pull back.

"oh, sorry." Aaron said. "I thought you might want some."

"yeah well, I'm not really in the mood."

"sorry I made this weird."

"it's fine, let's not do that again. " I might bite you for real.

"see with how you reacted to his blood last time I just thought."

"anyway let's change the topic, do you think the teeth are wolf like or bat like?"

"like baby wolf. They are cute but super sharp like a bat."

"more or less. I want to control every part of me. Now that I understand where my power comes from I'm learning to control it. both the good and bad that comes with it. "

"yeah I have been doing a lot of research and spending a lot of time practicing."

"so that's why you I haven't seen you around, I thought you were avoiding me. I was really surprised when you said you were coming."

"Oh I was avoiding you and Alex. I needed time to learn to control myself."

"so that's why, your not wearing your necklace?"

"I'm surprised you noticed, I haven't been reading your mind."

"I'm getting tried it's dark out. We still have a long time I'm going to nap. Feel free to nap too."

"alright I'll be quite."

I set up drawing, the driver has been listening to music through head phones the whole time. I use my eyes to see better while drawing. I'm not sure what color they turn when I'm using night vision, but it's way better than the night vision I have without magic. I'm drawing Devin.

setting on his bed all relaxed and smiling as he messaged me and the girl he likes.

I hate to admit it but it makes me a little jealous to think that the smile was for someone else. I have no right to be jealous. I'm his friend and I'm lucky to be that. I shouldn't push anything.

I don't want to lose his friendship. I'm lucky he still talks to me after knowing what I did with both Aaron and Alex. I haven't even told Tara everything because I'm afraid she would be scared of me.

Devin he's not scared, he's not pushy, I trust he won't hurt me with any information I give him.

I'm comfortable with him he makes me smile and laugh. He's smart, and kind, but I'm not worth his time. I don't know why he gives it to me. I hope the girl he likes appreciates him.

I didn't know he couldn't use his power when I asked what it was. I feel like a jerk, I should apologize.

I really want to see his, but what will he say when he sees I'm drawing him. I mean I just said he cought my eye not that I like him.
