Wine Pool Inebriation
A really mediocre title. 142 chapters in and the government recommends students to qualify for college they should fight to the death with monsters. The timeline is way wrong too. The author insists everything was resolved and in its current state with the world expanding, satellites being destroyed, monsters evolving from common animals, etc…. In 3 years. I still can’t get over the trope of having the best of the best (in his area, 8 qualified out of 30k) and sending them to their deaths. Then having a scene were the leadership and government is disappointed in thesd teenagers for dying and spoiling their next planned mass murder. 30 or so people out of 150 have died in 3 days. These are the best of the best, too. Just stupid….oh and the government, OF COURSE, is complaining about needing more people to combat the monsters… lol… read if bored and you are waiting on other titles.
It starts off well, but decays at a dizzying pace. Bad end arc, no conclusion of the romance that hinted, lost the initial goal of resurrecting the parents, only to be resurrected later in the last chapter without preparation or anything, he had great xenophobic tendencies, besides that in the middle of the story because he had many ''pets'' and they ended up having poor development in some cases, plus some if you take away from the story it literally doesn't change anything.

I was reading this story every day half a year ago before I dropped it. Ok I will just say that I loved the 300 first chapters. It was an interesting situation, and a lot of interesting characters. I dropped after like 450 because there were no side characters. The only people the mc interacted with were his subordinates or his enemies. There were no challenges anymore and I couldn't force myself to read further. I understand why people would like this novel, with all the nice pets and interesting world, but this feels a bit like a power fantasy after the first 400 chapters. I dropped Divine Beast Adventures for the same reason. It isn't fun rading about a protagonist with no real obstacles anymore. But I liked the start of both where there were both struggles and characters that were enjoyable, but after a certain point the story stagnated. I am not hating on this novel. I liked it in the start but then the mc became the strongest in the worl, but it just got dragged ut continuously. The author started taking the easy way out more often and the story suffered because of it. All in all you should read the start but you may be disappointed with what you get after a while. This is how I remember it, from reading the story 6 months ago. Thanks for reading this review.
I have 1 word to say ,AWESOME is the only way I can describe this book ..it has so many well thought of plot plus the battle were nice I enjoyed the book all the way to chapter 820 but after that it felt like there were just rushing leaving so many potential plots unused the end is still nice doo and quite touching in nature .I just wanna say this was a nice book to I would deffinataly rate it among top 10 books in my library
As of chapter 673, I would say that this story sucks. It started off really great, with a very strong plot armor and good character development that consists of different personalities. It was very fun to read especially MC's quest to conquer/raise its Familiars with its cheat system. I also find this story to be very unique, unlike those cliche cultivation/system novels. Overall, it can be seen that the story WAS progressing towards a good direction. However, here comes this stupid trend that most Chinese novel tend to have, that is the inconsistency where the story deteriorates and becomes so bad that it is unreadable, especially during the ancient tribe/war arc. The author loves to have different POV and split the story into different parts to create cliffhangers, but most of them are really redundant. Battle scenes are always very sudden and unrelated to the story where if you skip most of it, it wouldn't matter, totally unnecessary. The worst part is when sometimes you wouldn't even know what happened until everything came to an end. Translation quality sucks, likewise, inconsistent. It was all fine at the beginning, but when it starts to introduce the grades and tiers or whatnot, you'd realized that the translator don't even know what they are, it could change in the future chapters. For example, when the translator introduced a lvl40-lvl50 is King-tier, it could change to Emperor-tier, Imperial-tier, Royal-tier all of a sudden. What's worse is that the translator doesn't unify or clarify what is the correct tier for what levels. It's a total mess. After chapter 300 or so chapters, battle scenes becomes incomprehensible, and it's really difficult for me to understand what's happening when the author keeps switching scenes and POV. I suspect that the author doesn't even know Chinese, thus i went to compare the translated version with the Machine translated ones and I found out that the chapters are all EDITED, NOT TRANSLATED. Translator, just kys, wasting my spirit stones. Overall, the story keeps going downhill as it progresses. I warn everyone to stay away from this ****. Highly don't recommend.
Well, save yourselves from an atrocious "novel", it keeps getting worse as time passes. This has absolutely no depth, no rhythm, development is chaotic or non existent. Translation is pretty much machine translation at times. Inconsistencies in plot and naming are so bad that contradictory statements and different names can be found in the same paragraph. There's no character developed, I'd say not even the main character can count as developed. I mean, except for the pokemon-like system that could potentially be fun, and having a couple cool "familiars", there's absolutely nothing in this novel worth reading, much less spending spirit stones in. I tried to find something good for too long but it just keeps getting worse and worse.
Not system type novel not game element You can not aspect mc use his power execive or wisely Not op mc He does not use his ability Coward type mc op grandfather later he does not earn money using ability grandfather give him a limitless card but he does not spend does not matter card actually I hate if mc do not use his ability for research or learn more about it half of the novel i quit. Background is not exist (School, home, studio, training place) no detail Mc classic chineese and know ho to make delisious meals i read half but i do not know he is nationalist or not.
A good story with great potential but is being squandered by stupid chinese racism and patriotism. MC became bloodthirsty and vengeful very quickly without any meaningful experience. He is also inconsistent in his character and selfish to an extreme. Can be binge read once in a while after accumulating some chapters, when you have nothing else to read, but not good enough for me to wait for new releases.
The novel is pretty boring and there's ton of fillers in the chapters. The cheat is too convenient and adjusts every single time before a problem comes up. Also the characters are bland as hell. The first familiar would spend at least 10% of the chapter it appears to say it's hungry. It's a slog to get through this His situation is also too convient too And lastly (NO ROMANCE) the MC is loner
