They could have run away, leaving me behind; if they had, not only they have faced the slightly less pressure, but also would have already reached very close to the boundary.

Currently, we are getting attacked on all sides by vines, from left to right, from top to bottom, everywhere. It is thanks to Lady Atkins that we are even surviving; every minute, she would construct thousands of the water elemental constructs that would defend against the vines.

It is extremly straining for her, and she is also rapidly expanding the energy from the five-pointed star floating above her. 

I did not do anything, nor I could do anything, but soon I will have to do something. These vines are really the greatest enemy we have come across in the ruin; they are very powerful, very intelligent. If anyone of us had been alone in exploring the place, they wouldn't have been able to return.
