My Next Great Adventure

I grinned at God and said, "How much would it cost to go to the Harry Potter world?" "Well, that depends on which timeline you would like to be inserted in," said the big G. I thought about it for a second. Canon is what I know for certain, so starting too early or late wouldn't give me the advantage's I am looking for.

That said I don't want to be young and untrained by the time Voldemort gets revived so I can't be the same age as Harry. Plus if Harry and company screw everything over then I would like to be an adult that could buy a ticket out of England.

Plus to be honest I would not want to share any of the adventures the trio were in. I just want to learn magic and become powerful and rich. That said if everything works out then the trio would be pretty popular and powerful in the new regiment so I would like the trio to look at me in a friendly manner if not a friend so taking all that into account.

I looked at God and said, "I will like to be in the seventh year when the Triwizard tournament starts." That way if I can participate in it and perform really well in it I could gain tremendous popularity which would help in various ways down the lane. Plus If Fluer happens to be as breathtaking as the book describes it then I would like to take my chances there.

I made a distinction between the book and the movie because while the movie character of Fleur was good looking, I thought some other characters were better. According to the books though she would win hands down, therefore the distinction.

"That would cost you 10 points for choosing Harry Potter world and 5 points for choosing the timeline. That leaves you with 60 points of Karma" was the instant response.

"Out of curiosity, how much to be a pureblood from a rich ancient and noble family?" " 25 points." "Tch. How about just being a pureblood from an ancient and noble family and cancel being rich." The reply was instant, "20 points." "Hmm... so being rich costs 5 points huh?" "That is correct," replied big G.

"How much would fanfiction level Occlumency cost?" I asked curiously. "Elaborate," said God in an interested voice. "Well, I mean in some fanfiction Occlumency would give the mc photographic memory as well as an impenetrable mind palace. On top of that, you could put a false mind on top of it so people looking would find that rather than a wall. It also let them view and manipulate their magic core. This not only lets the mc practice their magic and so make it stronger but lets them do wandless magic."

God hummed and said, "it's doable, but because I will be stretching what Occlumency can actually do it will be a little expensive. It's going to cost you 40 points. Regular Occlumency that protects your mind would only cost 5 points."

I flinched hearing that. That's more than half my points, leaving me with only 20 points but it should be worth it. Before finalizing it I should price everything else out. "How much for being a Pureblood with enough personal money for me to pay for Hogwarts and some extra books."

"That should only cost you 5 points. It will give you enough money to last through Hogwarts and a little more if you are frugal." "That sounds perfect." I said before continuing, " Alright, I will take the fanfiction Occlumency and the pureblood package for a total of 45 points. That should still leave me with 15 points. Any recommendations?"

"5 points to customize your body, another 5 points to retain your memory of this life and the last 5 points for a magical animagus." I widened my eyes not even thinking about retaining my memory having for some reason assumed I would keep it and replied, "I accept 5 points for customizing my body, 5 points for my memory and 5 points for a magical animagus. I choose Pheonix."

God smiles at me and asks me, "Why Pheonix?"

"There are too many advantages for me to choose something else. Pheonix travel can't be blocked, it gives me regeneration which hopefully carries over to my human body and it might even potentially make me immortal. But I mainly chose it for the cool factor. Animagus is the representative of your soul. Pheonix soul sounds incredibly cool."

God laughed and it was like a balm to my soul. He said, "You are correct there are many advantages to that animagus form. It does not make you immortal if you are killed instantly but wounds and old age can be cured by transforming into your animagus form and going through a Burning day. It would take a couple of days as a chick Pheonix but it would heal just about anything including old age. It would bring you back to your prime if old or the age you initiated the Burning day if younger than 21.

"Alright son, it's time to say goodbye and I hope you have a great life this time and you live to whatever age you desire before greeting death as an old friend and coming back to me for your next great adventure," Gods voice echoed as everything blacked out.
