Their Meeting

Granger staring down the abyss, felt something is wrong. The abyss started to glow in purple. Granger immediately hid behind one of the nearby trees and watch closely the movements in the abyss.

Demons are starting to move out of the abyss to the nearest elf village. Granger remembered the rumors about the attacking demons at night. He watched the demons as they move their pack to the direction of the nearest elf village. Granger was left with a decision to make. Granger looked back into the abyss and thought that this is a perfect chance to enter the abyss and slaughter the Demon Lord of the abyss once and for all. Granger shook his head. He knew for a fact that this is a perfect chance for him but he couldn't just leave the innocent villagers to meet their demise. He ran in the shadows towards the demons and caught their attention. Petty demons like these are no big deal for him. He started playing his death sonata and started killing demons with his gun.

Selena, in the abyss, felt the grievance of her demons that was killed. She decided to step out of the abyss to see who is the fool that dare stand in the way of her plans. She walked through the forest into her fallen demons. She saw a stature of a man holding a gun with a guitar case on his left hand with his back facing her. "Who are you?" She asked.

Granger turned to the lady who spoke. Selena was thrilled to see the handsome face she saw. "I am a demon hunter." Granger pointed his gun into Selena. She giggled. Selena summon an abyssal arrow and threw it to Granger making him immobilized. Granger dropped his gun and guitar case.

Selena transformed herself into her abyssal form and dashed over to Granger's back. Granger felt a sudden difference in Selena's power. Selena inspects Granger's gun and guitar case. "Hmm, no wonder you defeated them instantly." Granger managed to turn his head to look at Selena. "You own a gun capable of wounding us, even me, and this--" She was about to touch the guitar case. "Don't you dare touch my guitar case." Granger exclaimed. Selena transformed back into her elven form. "Hey, what's your name?" she asked.

"That's none of your business. You will soon meet your demise." Granger replied with hostility.

She giggled. "I'll give you a chance to join my fan club." Granger laughed sarcastically. "There's no way I will be a fan of a hideous demon." She giggled once again. "Sure, there are ugly demons in the abyss, but there are also gorgeous elves like me."

Deep inside Granger, he can never deny that Selena is pretty but she is still a demon. Deep in his thoughts, Selena spoke. "You seem to be carrying so much hatred in your heart." Granger stared at her. "Demons have no place in this world, you should all be eradicated."

Selena stared back. "Come to the dark abyss and I will lead you to victory." He smirked. "I only fight for myself, no one else." Selena transformed herself into her abyssal form. She laughed loudly through the night. "Fools eventually die from stupidity." She held Granger's face. His face gained some scratches because of her sharp claws. "I'll let you hunt down other demon clan, and I can help you, but, raise your weapon unto me, and I'll tear you into shreds." She turned back to her elven form and motioned to walk away.

Granger was left behind and is waiting for him to be able to move. He knew he couldn't defeat her yet as he is now. He came to a decision that he will train in the Land of Dawn and be sure to get back at her.
