Lurking in the Shadows

Selena found a great entertainment. She did well in showing her true prowess to Granger. She knew that Granger wouldn't come to her at the moment. She decided to follow him in the shadows to see his face everyday. She have this feeling to want to own him.

Granger travelled across the Land of Dawn in hope to find the well-known demon hunter - Alucard. Granger travelled to the Temple of Knight, where Alucard is known to live. Granger will travel during the day and at night he will hunt down small scale demons that are lurking anywhere.

One night when he just finished hunting demons, he heard laughter from somewhere near him. He carefully walk through the direction of the sound to see nothing. He sighed of relief and sat down to wipe his gun and guitar case. In the middle of wiping his gun, he thought to himself. "I thought that witch is here." He shook his head. "Crazy, just because that the giggle is somewhat similar to her, means that she will be here. You must be hallucinating." He said to himself as he keep wiping his weapon.

Selena hid in one of the further trees from Granger. She was not able to control her giggle when Granger was fighting.

"Why didn't you show yourself to that man? He won't stand a chance against you." The abyssal demon on her side told her on her mind.

She giggled. "It's not time yet." She replied as she stare at Granger.

"Hmm. But you almost exposed yourself earlier."

She smiled. "I couldn't help it. He seems so gorgeous when he fights. Even though what he is doing is absolutely pointless." She pat the abyssal demon on her side. "Because as long that there is darkness in every being, the forces of darkness will never disappear." She stared once again at Granger. "Just like he is. He carries so much darkness in his heart."

The next morning, Granger finally arrived at the Temple of Light and met Alucard. He asked Alucard if he could join him in his training to be a better demon hunter. Alucard with a straight face, asked him why he wanted to get stronger when he is strong enough to hunt demons.

Granger sighed and tell Alucard everything that happened in the Southern Moniyan Empire, also when she met the witch of the abyss.

Alucard sighed. "Why don't I help you instead? With the both of us fighting her, she won't stand a chance."

Granger shook his head. "I humbly decline. I only need to raise my strength. This is my goal. As one of the demon hunters."

Alucard stood up. "Let me show you the art of killing." He gestured to Granger asking him to follow him.

Selena, wearing a full body cloak to hide her identity from the residents of Temple of Light, is leaning on a tree far from the talking Alucard and Granger but with her very keen hearing, she overheard what they are talking about and is overjoyed when she heard that Granger wants to fight her alone. "Yaaaahh!! He doesn't want to show me to other guys. He only wants me for himself. Ahhh!! So dreamy!" She said heartily to her abyssal demon hiding in the shadows so that the people can't see it. "I'm sure you just took it the wrong way, naughty child." The demon replied talking with their minds.

The two gentlemen stood up to leave. Selena couldn't follow them anymore so she decided to take a tour around since this is her first time to step out of the abyss and she will continue to stalk him again at night time.
