Normal Day

Days passed by the norm letting Granger and Selena get to know each other more. Selena still easily blending in with the humans as she tends to their needs in the form of a maid.

Selena serving lunch to the demon hunters. "Thank you, Selena." Alucard said to her taking the food serving from her hand. She showed him her usual smile. "You're food is the best. You are an angel sent to us by the Gods, right Granger?" Alucard remarked tapping Granger on his side.

Granger glanced at her. "Yeah, she's very kind." Selena was startled. Her eyes widen a bit but she immediately composed herself to not get noticed. Granger looked back to his food. "The food she makes is full of gentleness and kindness. It's very good." Alucard smirked from his remark.

After serving the food of the demon hunters, Selena went to the backyard of the temple to rest under a tree.

Granger walks to the shooting ground for some training when he spotted Selena sitting under the tree. He stopped his tracks and stared at the lady who stares at the butterfly on her finger. He remembers the conversation he heard from Selena's room.

He shooked his head. 'There's no way that she's a demon. Or that she's acquainted with a demon. She's way too kind and gentle to be like that.' He tries to disregard the possibility of Selena being the Abyssal witch but deep inside, he can never fully forget the conversation he heard.

Alucard who just walked out of the dining hall saw Granger standing still and looking at something. He gently walked towards Granger and followed the sight of him to see what is he intently looking at.

Alucard smirked and put his arms around Granger's shoulders. "Why are you just standing still here?"

Granger was startled from the sudden gesture of Alucard. "What the hell man?!" He removed Alucard's arm over his shoulder. "Why are showing up like a fucking mushroom?!"

Alucard gestured his arms in a defensive manner. "Whoa there bro, calm down. It's not my fault that you are so captivated by Selena that you can't notice things around you." Alucard replied mockingly.

Granger gasped and blushed. "I'm not captivated by her!!" He shouted at Alucard.

Alucard reaches for his head and ruffles his hair while holding back his laughter. "You're so awkward. Go talk to her if you want. A guy always go for the woman he likes. Listen to me, that's why I got to tame my Miya." He winked at Granger.

"Ah is that so?!" A woman's pissed voice suddenly interrupted the boys from talking.

The two boys looked on their right to see Miya with her shoulders crossed around her chest looking at Alucard gritting her teeth and veins almost popping out of her forehead.

Alucard moved back a bit at the sight of his girlfriend fuming of anger. "H-hey, b-babe!" He awkwardly called to Miya. He glanced at Granger implying to help him but Granger just smirked at him and ignored Alucard who is in trouble.

Miya pulled Alucard by the ear and talked him out while they are getting out of the hall.

Granger looked back at Selena. He decided to go and talked to her.
