TG: 4 : Why cant I enjoy anything?

Well.

I slept like 11 hours, who would have guessed that being thrown like a ragdoll would suck.

I really though I could have beaten the shit out of her too since our first encounter was easy, but in seems after she healed completely I was completely outclassed.

Damn I thought my kagune was pretty strong but I am still undeveloped apparently.

Welp no reason crying over spilled milk, that yandere bitch should be satisfied for a while.

If she shows up again I should be strong enough or be able to call backup and kill her once and for all. I should have killed her but I felt it would have spoiled the mood watching a girl die as I stare her in the eyes with blood and guts all over me.

..

Anyways I'm pretty hungry so I think I'm just going to get something from 7/11.

I exit my apartment and scratch my face, an itchy spot from a mosquito has been fucking with me hardcore.

It is still the afternoon so no spooky creature of the night is going to try and jump me hopefully.

I enter the store and go to the small rotary heater.

A bean bun sounds fucking scrumptitioulous right now.

I grab the small plastic package and ring it up.

This has been routine for a while now.

Get up, buy food. Go home or walk around until I get work, do job. Go home. Repeat.

It's amazing and easy except for what happened last night but that shouldn't happen again, I'm hoping for another 2 week streak, maybe even a few months would be awesome before something fucked up happens.

The bean bun is amazing btw.

I have eaten them for about 6 days now and see why people rave about them on the internet. They are something of a meme honestly but some cliches start from truths.

After I finish eating I throw the plastic into a nearby garbage can and suddenly my card beeps.

Uh. Yeah I would assume so.

"STAY BACK IT IS STILL ALIVE!"

A man runs past me with a giant red hammer in his hands.

Another investigator shoots down the street with a donut hole through his chest, his eyes are lifeless.

"JIRA NOO!!!"

The older man screams in rage and charges, a ghoul with a centipede tail turns the corner and laughs.

It wears a simple wooden mask depicting a demon.

I look on and see multiple other agents dead on the road. Their bodies minced and lacerated.

So much for a B ranked ghoul this motherfucker has a KD.

"Hey kid run for your life I will stop this monster!"

Hammer charges in and blocks the first few attacks but quickly gets overwhelmed.

"SHIT!"

He flings his hammer out and catches the centipede ghoul in the gut but it only staggers her for a second, she rebounds and the 1st class investigators body is lopped in half.

"Ah ah ah little boy dont run!"

The woman with blood stained blonde hair stares at and whips her kagune around and begins walking at me.

"Oh ho paralyzed in fear or am I just that beautiful?"

"Fear? Beatiful yes, but I'm not paralyzed."

"Brave words for my meal. You smell especially delicious!"

The suitcase in my hand begins vibrating with rage. I click the button and out comes the sword.

"I have been thinking.. I think I will name this one. 'Black Rose' "

"You were an agent after all! How beatiful. Hopefully you are better than that brutish oaf, his type dont taste good."

I hold my sword to my waist backwards, in a sheath manner.

I thought this was a generic sword but it seems Mado has better taste than I thought.

I 'unsheath' the weapon with an upside down cut and a mass of red crystals fires at the ghouless.

"AH THAT HURTS!"

The spikes stick into her and she begins bleeding all over.

"YOU BASTARD!"

She charges me and a centipede tail whips towards my head.

She is much slower than Rize, I can easily dodge this shit tier attack.

"YOU SLICK BASTARD!"

I thrust Black Rose at her to show her to back off or get stabbed, she steps back and screams, her eyes grow even veinier and her kagune begins pulsing.

Rage mode already huh?

She charges me with her scorpion tail now wrapped around her body like an armor. She begins throwing kicks and punches at me wildly, but my karate skills make her strikes look like a 5 year olds in comparison to my dodging.

"Ah I remember now your the ghoul called ballerina. Killing men and eating only their livers and testicles. That's pretty fucked up."

"DONT TALK LIKE YOU KNOW ME BASTARD!"

I chop at her but the swords blade bounces off the hard carapace.

Well things just got quite a bit more difficult I just need to hold out until backup gets here.

I continue blocking or dodging or blocking the manic strikes for a while but no one shows up.

"Are you fucking superhuman why WONT YOU DIE!"

The woman now panting and dripping in sweat stares at me.

I breath in and out slowly to cool myself.

Well if no one is going to show up.

*crackle*

*pop*

My kagune shoot out the woman looks in horror but has no energy to run.

"O-one eyed ghoul!"

"NO NO NO PLEASE DONT KILL ME! PLEASE I BEG YOU! I WAS JUST TRYING TO SURVIVE LIKE YOU!"

"Survive by torturing and maiming? Other ghouls get by off of corpses and suicide victims. You killed for the thrill and sadism of it."

"PLEASE!"

I charge the centipede woman and shoulder charge her using my kagune like an armor wich sends her flying into the asphalt leaving a small crater where she lands. I jump ontop of her and begin smashing and cutting. Her armor crumples and I see her torso for a second. I plunge my blade into her exposed stomach and she tries to scream but only gurgles of blood come out. Black Rose shoots out a burst of the spikes into her body and they act as hollow point bullets and juggle her insides into a paste.

She stares at me in agony and dies.

I swipe my gloved hand across her face to shut her eyes.

"Gyah. Blood in my damn mouth. Huh its actually not bad."

I'm not going to dwell on cannibalism.

I jump off her corpse and put my kagune up before anybody shows up. I sit down and wipe my clothes off while waiting for the supposed back up.

[10 minutes later]

"JUST AROUND THIS CORNER COME ON!"

A shout comes a block or 2 away. I dust myself off and stand up.

Status update my suit is fucking ruined, its covered in shit blood and organ goo.

A man in a white trenchcoat runs around the cafe on the corner and stops dead in his tracks staring at me.

It's the whip prick.

"You- I- Im.. Sorry.."

His face grows sorrowful. He looks at the corpse of the ghoul.

" You killed a B rank ghoul by yourself? I think you are in the wrong line of work."

"I just did what I could to avenge the others who died trying to defeat her."

"Listen. I'm sorry for abandoning you that time.. We had no choice."

"Hey trenchcoat. Stop being beat up by it I escaped pretty easily after those 2 beasts started fighting, everyone who signs up at the CCG knows the risk. No sweat off my back."

"Toshigawa, that's my name. 1st class investigator for the record, my junior, Mira should be here soon."

We stand in silence staring at the ghouls corpse for a minute or so.

"MR TOSHIGAWA I AM HERE!"

A woman with a long sword comes running around the corner ready to battle.

"Oh."

"You already killed it."

"No Mira. He did."

Toshigawa points at me and the girls mouth drops.

"HE KILLED IT!?!?!"

"Yes.. It seems he was hiding his capabilities."

"And I intend to keep it that way. Now that you are both here to handle the rest of the investigation I will be leaving."

I begin waking away and Toshigawa bows to me as he slaps some rubber gloves on.

Man that battle made my stummy hungry. I think another bean bun is in order.

I clutch my hands together as I watch Sebastian fight ballerina.

I get ready to jump in and help but he jumps onto her with his kagune now out.

His kagune is beatiful. Usually that type only covers one arm but he has 2 sacs. How exquisite indeed.

As he plunges the sword in her guts my breath becomes forcibly labored, I try to hold it in but my legs quake.

I take the cloth out of my pocket and begin smelling it.

Sweet, it's so sweet. Just like a fresh banana cake.

Its amazing.

I promised to stop stalking him. But I love it too much.

I love watching.

I love it...
