Chapter 3: The Bloody Painting - Blood Dots

Jacob than performed exercise on the painting, but the lights went out and the painting started to bleed as a woman's weeping cries could be heard. When the lights came back on, they found that one of the tour guide students had gone missing; a male student named Duan Ze. Mei Yi than screamed and pointed to the painting, where five blood marks surrounded it. Ming Han noticed that if the dots were connected, they would make a hexagram and wondered if this painting had become a part of some type of ritual. Jacob said that it could be a sacrifice of a sort, as hexagrams can be associated with witchcraft, and they concluded that Quan Na may have used a ritual of sacrifice before committing suicide, offering up her soul for revenge on the six people corresponding to the six dots surrounding the painting.

Jacob said that since it has become like this, a normal exorcism would not work and that the most important thing to do now was to try and find Duan Ze as well as secure the other 5 students from the hands of death. Everyone than separated to try and find Duan Ze; Wen Xin Ya used stick throwing to guide while Bo Wen used a red string. Both of them walked in the same direction and found Duan Ze locked up in an airtight place to suffocate and slowly die. They were able to get him out and sent him to the hospital.
