Mirah and Pey Ending

We have spent many days laughing and joking. The difference is that this time was without any tension and burning anger. Exactly 7 weeks after the accident, our relationship improved a lot. And Jason… Jason kept calling me ever since I resigned from his company. There’s going to be so much to say if I don’t avoid him. I'm indeed a coward; unable to face the consequences of my actions. And now I am confused with which one to choose, staying or leaving Pey. Pey walked towards me, I was in the back garden just like any other day when I’m around. I was swinging just like any other day, but this time I wasn’t alone. I was swinging with Oli in my lap.

"Morning, my ruby." Pey greeted me.

"Morning, Pey. You look much better." I replied.

"Yup. I can even run now." he replied, winking his eye.

"So, what's your plan, Mirah? I've improved a lot. Are you gonna leave now?" he asked seriously, looking for a place to sit next to me.
