ch. 5 The Hulk

Boom!!

I was thrown inside a building because of the punch.

Huge pain started to spread in my whole body, but I controlled myself and didn't scream.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck...if only I could use mana."

If I had known how to use mana, I would have won this fight without even batting my eye.

And It was all because of Excalibur, I had found out about this years ago but I am still angry about it.

This sword is a weapon of mass destruction, but in my hand, a hand that doesn't know how to use mana, it is trash.

It was because Excalibur needs to be awakened and it needs to connect with me with my mana and till then it is like a normal sword.

I had cursed Link for almost a week after I found out about it.

Like, what the hell? you are giving me all this power even the power to full equip but you are not letting me use it fully.

"Fuck you!"

I cursed him again as I slowly stood up and walked outside the building only to see Abomination punch Hulk into a building just like me.

I was stunned, I don't remember the Hulk movie but I had always known that Hulk is strong. So, seeing that Hulk was losing, I was shocked.

But even then I didn't interfere and slowly jumped to a building top and started looking at the scene from above.

After that a helicopter appeared in the sky and started firing at Abomination, then Abomination jumped and caught the skids of the helicopter and started pulling it down, Hulk also jumped and caught on Abomination's legs and started pulling him down and here I was thinking that I forgot to bring popcorn with me.

Both of them fought while hanging for some time but eventually the helicopter fell to the ground.

Hulk and Abomination both didn't stop and started fighting again, but my eyes were set on another thing this time, the fuel was leaking from the helicopter and it was near the fire.

"I have to do something...oh never mind"

As I was speaking the fire started and then the Hulk ran and clapped his hand in front of the helicopter.

The fire diminished and then Hulk and Abomination started fighting again.

At last, the Hulk strangled the Abomination with a chain and ended the fight and then ran away.

I didn't chase the Hulk but was still looking at the Abomination who was on the ground surrounded by soldiers.

I was thinking about what should I do to him, should I kill him or just leave.

Then just thought of leaving, I didn't want to kill someone on my first day as a vigilante.

And then left for the hotel room.

It was eight o'clock in the morning, we were sitting in a waiting room in a large building in Manhattan.

"Mom, why are we here?" I asked mom in confusion because we had to take the subway to Queens which was at 10.

She then looked at me with a smile and said " don't worry, we will not be late"

I was getting bored and so I took out my game boy from my bag and started playing on it.

After ten minutes, I heard the door opening.

Then a beautiful woman and a man in a bodyguard suit entered the room, the woman looked at my mother and spoke

"Miss Stacy, sorry to keep you waiting."

My mom also stood up and said

"It's no problem, Miss Pots"

Just as I heard mom saying the name of the woman I got shocked, even the Gameboy fell off my hand.

I didn't know that my mom was waiting for Pepper Pots. After Pepper Pots talked to my mom, she looked at me with a smile and asked

"You must be Alex, right?"

I nodded slowly while looking at her as she spoke again

"Alex, you see I have to talk to your mom about some things, so how about you play with this guy here? His name is Happy, he very nice guy."

She said while pointing at the man in the bodyguard's clothes.

Of course, I could guess who that man was but still acted dumb and nodded.

Then mom also came and said softly

"I will be back in no time, ok"

"Ok" replied slowly

Then mom and Pepper left the room leaving me with Happy.

After they left, I looked at Happy who was looking at me with an innocent face.

Then he walked toward me and asked

"So, do you...do you want something?"

Just as I heard this, a idea popped in my head, I looked at Happy with a puppy face and asked

"Can you take me to meet my friend?"

"A friend?"

Happy asked in surprise and I confirmed

"Yes, he lives in not far from here"

At first Happy had a conflicting look but then he sighed and accepted

"Ok"

We were now in a car, Happy was in the driver's seat and I was sitting beside him.

After he start the car, Happy asked

"So...the address?"

I smiled at him and said "Hmm...177A Bleecker Street"

"...ok"

Vroom! Vroom!!

Then Happy turned the car on and started to drive.
