Dimitri and I finally arrived at our destination.
Dimitri: It is here.
Ivy: Alright, but are you sure this room is safe?
Dimitri: Yes, I have the key here, it is best to lock the door just in case any monster hear us.
Ivy: Alright, let's go inside.
We both go in and Dimitri locks the door. The room looks identical to the one I was in before.
Ivy: Woah, this room looks identical to the one I was in.
Dimitri: I have seen a lot of rooms like this but I didn't think there were people there.
Ivy: I see. Hey did you get a note when you found your tulip?
Dimitri: Well, yes I did, but I threw it away because it was seriously creepy.
Ivy: What did it say?
Dimitri: Something about me having a second chance at life.
Ivy: That's weird, mine was different.
Dimitri: what did yours say?
Ivy: Me being chosen to live here and that I will get some sort of prize if I manage to escape successfully.
Dimitri: Huh, maybe the owner of this place is trying to confuse us. Or maybe he or she is doing it for his or her entertainment.
Ivy: That is likely possible. I mean just what is this place?
Dimitri: It's a mansion I belive.
Ivy: A mansion, huh. Well if we do manage to escape, what are we going to even do? We both have no idea where we are, we could be in the middle of a forest or something. Or we both are already dead and this person has trapped our souls and is making us go through this hell.
Dimitri: I don't think that is the case. We are alive, but we were brought to this haunted mansion for some stupid reason.
Ivy: Haunted is right. These monsters... I mean they don't look human and they have seriously sharp teeth and no eyes.
Dimitri: There are even ghosts here.
Ivy: Ghosts?!
Dimitri: Yeah, that's right. But for whatever reason, they helped me out.
Ivy: Helped you out...? How?
Dimitri: I have been in this house for several days now and those ghosts give me food and water, but whenever I try to talk to them, they just stare at me and then leave.
Ivy: That surely is strange, I haven't seen ghosts anywhere here.
Dimitri: For how long have you been here?
Ivy: A day I guess, I mean the clocks here don't work so I do not know.
Dimitri: I see... Well, are you feeling tired? It's best for us to rest and then we can continue exploring.
Ivy: Alright, I will take the sofa.
Dimitri: You sure?
Ivy: Yeah, besides, you're the one who almost died back there.
Dimitri: ...I'm not weak tho.
Ivy: Didn't say that now did I?
Dimitri: Nope, you didn't but...
As he says that he pushes me the other way.
Ivy: What are you doing??
Dimitri: You take the bed, I'll take the sofa. *grumble*
Ivy: ...Are you angry?
I say trying not to laugh. Dimitri takes a blanket and throws himself on the sofa and covers himself with the blanket.
Dimitri: N-nope, Goodnight!
Ivy: Uh hello????
Dimitri: ...
Ivy: Excuse me?
Dimitri: ...
Ivy: ...! ...EARTH TO DIMITRI!!
As I say that he flinches a bit.
Dimitri: You don't need to shout now do you? What if a strong monster comes here and breaks the door down?
Ivy: *sigh* Sorry...
Dimitri: Just go to sleep, we need as much energy we have to survive.
Ivy: Alright then, Goodnight.
I quickly lay on the bed and try to fall asleep. No matter how much I try to go to sleep, it is near impossible to even close my eyes. I mean so many things have happened and I still am wary of everything here even if Dimitri told me this room is safe.
Ivy: *grumble*
Dimitri: Can't sleep either?
Ivy: Nope... With all of the things that have happened today, it is near impossible to even get a wink of sleep. How did you manage to sleep?
Dimitri: I had sleeping pills.
Ivy: Do you have any at the moment?
Dimitri: No, I don't... Sorry...
Ivy: No need to apolog-
Without warning a loud beep is heard in the room. We both jolt up from where we were laying.
Dimitri: WHAT THE?!
Ivy: What's going on?!
Mysterious voice: Warning!!! The room you are currently in is about to be filled with poisonous gas, you must leave immediately! But out master wants to see people fight for their lives so she has ordered a ghost to hide the key to this room somewhere around the room.
I quickly take my bat and try to break the door.
Ivy: ...! HEY DIMITRI, IT'S NOT BREAKING!
Dimitri: Give me that! You look the key, ill try to break the door!
Ivy: OKAY GOT IT!
Dimitri: Less talking and more looking!
Mysterious voice: The gas is about to be released into the room. You have 2 minutes before you die from poisoning.
Ivy: DAMN IT!!
I try looking inside the drawers, but they are empty. I look under the bed, sofa, everything.
Ivy: I can't find it!
Dimitri: Keep looking! It has to be here!
Dimitri is trying with all his might to break the door. I suddenly notice a dent on the wall next to the mirror.
Ivy: (What's that?)
I quickly go up to it and rip the wallpaper off. The key falls to the ground and I quickly pick it up.
Ivy: I found it!
Dimitri: Great, give it to me!
I toss the key and he quickly unlocks the door and we both run out.
Mysterious voice: Congratulations! You managed to escape! I have to say you did a great job! YOu two might be worth my time...
Dimitri: YOUR TIME?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!!! YOU JUST TRIED TO KILL US!! LET US OUT OF THIS GOD DAMN PLACE YOU PIECE OF-
Ivy: Calm down, You're going to alert more monsters here.
Mysterious voice: I shall give you a prize for managing to escape.
As soon as we hear that a ghost appears in front of us holding a knife.
Ivy: Huh?
Ghost: Take this sir.
Dimitri: Um...Alright...
He takes the knife and the ghost disappears.
