The Real Challenge [24]

The two kneeling figures, started trying to get up... "trying" being the focus.

the figure that was the most damaged, started giving off more and more heat, his broken legs started to slowly mend. his flushed and colorless face gaining warmth and life.

Izuku-'I know HE is watching, I can't show him any weakness or he'll use it against me. need to transfer some heat to my face to appear more healthy... don't want to look like a walking corpse.'

Izuku began to rise, giving his all to look as undamaged as possible. thankfully he had stuffed his body with as many energy bars, if he had not done that, he would have been lying on the ground unconscious.

he began to make his way to Katsuki and help him up, the two friends giving a chuckle at the damage their spar had done.

Katsuki-"I guess it's my loss. man, that was a good fight.-"

Izuku-"Yea, good fight. lets make the next one even better!"

The two bros, left the stage as the gobsmacked Present Mic announced Izuku Midoriya's victory.

By the time the two of them returned to the stands, Tenya was already long gone. Izuku knowing what was happening didn't interfere, but he made sure to remember sending Todoroki to the same place Iida was going to fight... why you might ask? well, it was so he could humble the two stuck up brats.

The top three contestants Midoriya, Bakugo and Kamado (who won a losers bracket match against Momo) stood on stage.

The crowd cheered as a bright light descended from the sky, like a falling star Endeavor flew down on the stage right after Midnight's announcement, The fast fall turned into a majestic landing that was as soft as a kiss, remind everyone that Endeavor was the Number 1 pro hero, not just because of his power but also of his control and ability to minimize the damage, that his normally destructive attacks would cause.

After a short speech, Endeavor gave the bronze medal to Kamado, then Silver to Bakugo and Gold to our champion Izuku, but Endeavor secretly gave Izuku the stink eye, probably for beating his kid senseless.

Whilst all of this was happening, Izuku's mind was occupied by a totally different matter.

Izuku-'come on , you can do this. Even though this will be today's most difficult challenge, you have to atleast try... foo~ you got this!'

After ceremony ended, Izuku made his way back to his class mates and spotted his target.

Making his way towards them, he slowly rehearsed and planned out his attack strategy.

Now he was standing right in front of them, he opened his mouth to speak and-

Izuku-"I umm, Tsu-ch chan. I w-w-was wandering if you we-w-were plannn*bite*" ... he bit his tongue.

Tsuyu-"Kero... Izuku-kun, are you alright?"

Izuku-'aargh! damn it!! say it properly you pu**y'

Izuku-"Tsuyu I was wondering, ifyouhadanythingplannedfortheweekend?!" he finally said it, but it was all done in a single breath.

Tsuyu-"Kero, ahh? Kero."

***Next Monday***

after a few minutes of struggle and giving a few death glares at the snickering classmates behind them, Izuku finally managed to ask Tsuyu out on a date. They had two dates after the tournament, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, both were pretty normal stuff like going to the Cafe, walking around town with drinks/icecream and going to the mall... that type of stuff [WHAT WERE YOU LOOKING FOR HUH?! I NEVER SAID I WAS A ROMANCE WRITER, God there isn't even a Romance tag on this novel... soo if you looking for slice of live romance and snu-snu then you aint gonn find em here].

Now students were gathered in class and waiting for Aizawa, who at the moment was silently giving the class an anxiety attack.

After the anxiety attack fully set in, Aizawa explained about the nominations from Pro Heroes who scouted them for internships.

Showing that Katsuki, Tanjiro, Todoroki and Tenya were in the top, with over 3000 nominations... and Izuku having only around 1300 nominations even though he achieved first place , which Aizawa suggested was due to his tendency of harming himself and his opponents during the matches as well as his terrible personality (of bullying his classmates during the competition).

But Izuku was fine with that, he didn't care about how many nominations he got. what he cared about was getting the Invite to intern at Endeavor's Hero agency. which was the first one to appear on the list. Endeavor was still annoyed and mad at how Midoriya beat up Shoto, but he still couldn't ignore a talent with a fire quirk such as Izuku's.

Then finally after Aizawa was done, Midnight popped in to say hi and let the class choose their names.

After 15minutes of hard thinking The class started showing their names. Most were the same as in cannon, only changes being:

Katsuki Bakugo - The Explosion Hero - Ground Zero

Tanjiro Kamado - The Sword Hero - Slayer

Midoriya Izuku - The Hero Of The Immortal Flame/Immortal Flame Hero - Flame Emperor

Why the two hero titles you ask? well let me tell you story that happened not so long ago.

***Flashback to 2 month's ago***

the class was going on as normal when, Izuku was extremely bored from the lesson that was being told... so like any other teen he took a quick nap during class.

??-"He$%#^&,^@#)(Q$!^! M& Champion! Wake up my champion!"

Izuku-"whah? who?-"

A woman with fiery red hair and violet, almost transparent white eyes spoke to Izuku. The woman stood atop an altar, in a basin which was lit on fire.

The small embers of the fire would give onlookers the feeling that it would die down any second, but if they focused they would feel unimaginable power coming from it.

??-"my hero, My Champion. you have finally awoken!"

The fiery woman spoke, gesturing towards Izuku with open arms.

??-"I- we have chosen you as our Champion! you shall carry on the legacy of the Immortal Flame! %#@*^@!((*! ^@*^$!%!YU#@. M!@>

And then Midoriya woke up, feeling pain from his head. cleaning up the drool that was coming out of his mouth Izuku looked around and spotted his Math teacher Ectoplasm with a rolled up newspaper, with which he was probably hit with.

As the lesson continued, Izuku was still thinking about his dream-

Izuku-'Damn, that was some Legend Of Zelda bullsh*t' -
