Chapter 8: The pursuit.

Inko and Izuku walked down the hall's as Izuku couldn't wait to get home to proper introduce Dogday to his home. He wanted to see Bakugo's face when he introduce him to his quirk and new friends. 

As he thought positively about Bakugo's interaction with Catnap and Dogday he then took a glance at Dogday who's been observing the whole hospital. He looked somewhat shocked when he look around the hospital. Seemingly daze by the people. 

Heck he even flinch when he saw a guy that has way to many eye's on his face sitting next to a corner. 

Dogday could already tell that he is no longer at playtime co. or even in his country or time. He even guess that he might not be in the same universe as considering that he saw people with mutation quirks in the hospital.

As his mind wonder through his guesses Izuku suddenly speak to him ending his line of thought.

" Dogday you've been looking around lately? Is this your first time seeing a hospital? "

" Huh oh no Izuku it's just.... It's been a while since I've seen so many people "

" Seen so many people? But.... How? Did you met other people before? "

" Well yes a long time ago. But I guess I've lost touch.... Tell me Izuku how did I end up in this place. "

" Oh I use my quirk to make you. Although when you put it that way I guess that I kinda summon you "

" Summon me? "

" Yeah! You heared Dr Garaki he said that my quirk can create life out of toys! Though it should be summoning now that you said you met people so I'm going to call it summoning for now on! "

Dogday was even more lost at Izuku's words. He didn't exactly understand what he was saying as he doesn't know what a quirk is but after seeing a few mutation from the people in this hospital he could guess that it's something related to that. 

Dogday thought that since Izuku is a child who would willingly answer his question's he decided to talk directly on what's a quirk and what country are they in so that he can confirm his guesses.

Izuku happily answered as they walk. Though Izuku thought that it was weird for him to ask questions he still complied.

' So it's true.... I'm not in my universe. '

His mind raise with questions and possibility as recalling how he died he might have been transported and revived in this universe by this kid.

He wouldn't have believe what izuku said about quirks since he was a child but considering the people he saw and the fact that he is still alive made him to forcefully believe this.

And to top it all of that his confusion begin to stir as he was in Japan a country in which he has no knowladge of speaking and yet was able to talk and understand Izuku, Inko and Garaki.

' This is getting more and more confusing and I doubt Catnap would have the answers I need. Fuck I can't believe I would thought of asking catnap for second '

He thought not wanting to look at Catnap who was following behind. He may be docile now but he was still warry of him. He knows what type of person Catnap really is and he will not let his guard down for trusting someone like him.

As his mind was filled with questions he thought of one that might him to afraid to ask izuku. 

' Does playtime co. Exist in this universe? '

He thought as Dogday look at Ixuku's action figure. It was obvious it's not one of playtime co's infamous toy line but what if instead of huggy wuggy or the smiling critters it was a different toy line that he isn't familiar off. 

" Okay izuku-kun I'll be right back. Mommy's got some business to attend to "

Inko said to her son as she pointed her fingers towards the receptionist. Izuku agree's as Inko walk towards the receptionist in order check the prescription Garaki gave him. meanwhile Dogday was clouded by so many questions that he wanted to get answers too.

He couldn't help but to let out a sigh by just how much of a headache his been using his brain to guess. Wanting to forget the so many questions from his head he decided to look up ahead where his pupil's shrunken and turned into ring's as he looks at the exit infront of him making freeze.

He tighten his grip on Izuku's hands as Izuku emmidiently notice the strange uncomfort.

" Grip! "

" Hmm Dogday? "

Dogday couldn't help but to stare at the exit as the outside world through that plastic tampered glass door has made him reminiscent.. He has given up the idea of finally leaving playtime co altogether since there isn't any hope for him to escape neither any of the toys in that facility.

But now that he has the chance to finally see the sun for the first time he was hesitant.

" Dogday are you alright y-your hurting me. "

Izuku said as he felt his hand begining to hurt but Dogday couldn't hear him. He was lost in thought by just the glance of the exit until a voice made him finally snap.

" Dogday if you don't let go of izuku now.... i'Ll KiLl yOu. "

Catnap said to Dogday as his seemingly child like voice suddenly turned static and bit crust. Dogday's pupils went back from a regular circle by the sound of Catnap's voice as he turn around to see Catnap who's eye's are devoid of any pupils.

Dogday's resentment is strong but his fear of catnap was still there. It's just buried deep within his subconscious. A hinge of fear was shown from Dogday's expression until he notice Izuku's slight discomfort. He eventually let go of his hand letting him heal from the mild pain from Dogday's grip.

" S-sorry Izuku! " 

" I-it's okay but still why would you do that? "

" I-um it's because um... "

Dogday couldn't find the words as whatever his reason of doing his action seem to be thrown out of the window until Dogday decided to just give up and said to izuku.

" I've.... been through a lot and I just want to relax. Sorry again for hurting your hand izuku "

" I see. Welp luckily it doesn't hurt much and mom's taking us for ice cream! I'm sure you'll be happy once we're outside! Say what's your favorite flavor I'll be getting chocolate and Catnap will have um? "

" Anything's fine. "

" Right like he said so? "

" I guess.... vanilla. "

" See! We'll have as much ice cream as we want and nothing can stop us haha! "

Izuku said as his expression made Dogday feel a little bit better. Though he doesn't know what the future holds for him the fact that he is now alive and has left playtime co made him realize that his free. All he could do now is to move forward.

' And I would have stayed dead in that facility if it weren't for him. '

He thought as he felt indebt for Izuku reviving him. Catnap stared at Dogday as he sorta feel better that Dogday manage to pick himself up. Though they were once friends and enemies Catnap still have care for Dogday as he was the first smiling critters who made him feel being understood and apart of something.

' Though I doubt we'll ever be friends again. '

Inko return putting away the recept on her bag as she grab izuku and left the step foot out of the hospital. Dogday felt the natural flow of the wind as well as the southing warm sun.

Oh it's been a while since he first step outside as he felt more relieved than he ever once before and catnap who walks beside him noticed his reaction as he felt the same way too.

( Meanwhile)

" Okay you got the location? "

" Yup all here "

Somewhere at a cafe near at the crouded streets a group of people were all gathered together at a table. One of them hand's three documents to each seperated group as they all look at there documents with seriousness.

Almost all of them contain information about certain individual children each in varying information. The group look at the one who gave them the information as he lay's back on his chair savoring his cigarettes before he tells the group.

" Garaki filled these documents. Just get the target's fast and quietly. We don't want to have any more accident right? "

Most of them were quiet but they understood what there assignment is. These three kids are near in mustufusa city more specifically near this block. It didn't take time for him the rest of the group to stand up and walk away from the cafe. 

All these people seperated into three groups as they started to move.
