Chapter 4: UA Entrance Exam (Start)

[8:40 A.M]

Many students were entering the gate. Kazuki also followed suit and entered. His eyes skimmed the students as he looked for the protagonist.

Izuku Midoriya.

'I chose to come a little late to see the protagonist.' Kazuki's eyes wandered, and a few moments later he saw a familiar green hair. It was none other than the protagonist.

Izuku clenched his yellow backpack. Recalling the events. 'In the end, I didn't have time to test out the power I received from Allmight.' He covered his mouth remembering that he swallowed Allmight's hair. 'I swallowed the hair, but did I receive his power?'

Kazuki watched the event unfold. Katsuki made his appearance.

"Don't stand in front of me. I'll kill you." Katsuki said with his usual angry tone.

Izuku flustered moved his hands and said. "M-Morning. L-Lets do our best." He was scared that Katsuki would bully him again.

Katsuki continued walking not paying any heed to Midoriya.

Midoriya watched Katsuki's back, he was in deep thought. He heaved a sigh of relief.

Midoriya shook his head, he then had a confident smile plastered on his face as he started moving. He took one step and almost immediately his body moved downwards.

Luckily before he hit the ground. A girl with brown short hair saved him.

Seeing the character's interactions. Kazuki turned around and entered the building. 'Time to focus on the entrance exam.'

[U.A High School Hero Course Exam Orientation]

Seeing the signboard. Kazuki entered and quickly found a seat.

The lights turned on, and Present Mic took on the stage. "For all you examinees tuning in, welcome to my show today! Everybody say, Hey!"

There was not a single response in the crowd.

Present Mic shrugged. "What a fine response." He raised his index finger. "Then I'll quickly present to you, the rundown on the practical exam. Are you ready? Yeah!"

Once again the crowd stayed silent.

"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute urban battles after the written exam! You can bring whatever you want with you. After the presentation and the written exam, you'll head to the specified battle center, okay?"

Present Mic raised his right hand. "Three different types of faux villains, are stationed in each battle center. You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty."

"Your goal dear listeners is to use your quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains." Present Mic turned around and pointed at the examinees. "Of course attacking other examinees and any other unheroic actions are prohibited."

Kazuki listened intently. He was in the same battle center as Izuku. He glanced at Tenya IIda who stood up and asked a question. The spotlight shone on him.

He pointed at the fourth faux villain and then pointed his index finger at Midoriya. "You've been muttering all this time. It's distracting. If you're here on a pleasure trip then leave immediately." Iida narrowed his eyes while Midoriya covered his mouth.

Present Mic then explained that the fourth villain is worth zero points. "I recommend that you listeners to avoid it."

Tenya Iida bowed his head and sat back in his seat. Present Mic then said the school's motto.

Kazuki just rolled his eyes, he was excited to test out his strength. 'I can use the faux villains as an experimental punching bag, I have to at least grasp my level.'

"Now everyone good luck suffering!" Present Mic said.

After the written exam. Many students gathered in front of the huge gate. Kazuki stretched his shoulders. He wore a black turtleneck shirt and baggy black pants. 'What is this feeling?'

Kazuki was nervous just like the others, his heart beat fast. He was nervous yet excited. He glanced at the others who all stared at Midoriya thinking that they had one less competitor.

"Okay start!" Present Mic shouted.

Yet the examinees all glanced at him. Except for Kazuki.

He jumped up and down, he took his stance, and he used his quirk on his feet. 'Don't use too much, don't use 5%' He reminded himself, the ground beneath him cracked due to the shockwave emitting from his feet.

Whoosh

He rushed inside not waiting for the others.

'Oh, it seems like someone had already made his move.' Present Mic smiled seeing the examinee who unlike the others already sprinted with great speed. "What are you waiting for? There's no countdown in real fights! Run, Run!"

Quickly the other examinees rushed inside, leaving Midoriya who was still staring at Present Mic behind.

Kazuki trained his reflexes, he honed his body to move along with his mind. Kazuki met his first match a one-point faux villain.

Utilizing the shockwaves on his feet increasing his speed, Kazuki only needed to touch the faux villain with one finger. With precision Kazuki found an opening, he used his index finger and pushed the faux villain slightly.

But with just one touch of his finger, the faux villain was sent flying to the wall. 'They're easy to beat if you figure out their patterns.' A smile spread across his face.

He looked back, some of the examinees had already started moving. 'I have to earn as many points as I can.' Kazuki didn't care if he would be in first place, as long as he got accepted that was fine with him.

He continued fighting the faux villains. His heart raced. A thought lingered inside his head. 'But I don't want to stay away from the spotlight. I want to win, I want to reach first place!'

A smile rose on Kazuki's face. Kazuki shook his head. He glanced at the numerous faux villains. 'Highest record it is.'

Kazuki once again shot like a bullet, he would even touch the other faux villains being handled by the other examinees. He would take care of the faux villains that the examinees were having problems with.

'Saving and Destroying.' Kazuki continued moving, showcasing his durability, speed, and offense. His points stacked one after the other.

The UA teachers watched on screen how many of the young aspiring heroes handled the situation while showcasing each of their different prowess.

"Doesn't this year's group look promising?" Nezu said.

"Their true test is still to come," Ectoplasm said and pressed a red button.

Stones Please.
