Chapter 9: Raid

Inside the hall, there is a table shaped like a U. At the head of the table there is a creature that looks like a rat. There are three people on his right hand side and two people on his left hand side.

Looking at the man who had tired eyes, the rat asked "So Aizawa, is this information you got legit? Or is it someone trying to do a prank?"

Shaking his head, Aizawa said "I don't know. But this information had reached many of the underground heroes and some heavy hitters. Nighteye also got a letter and the informant had called him yesterday and given him four days to take action."

"Mmm. It's understandable since a child is being experimented on." Then looking at Aizawa the rat asked "Have Nighteye decided what to do?"

"He did. We will be hitting them today itself, Midnight, Ectoplasm, Snipe, Cementos are to be included in the raid as the manpower of the Yakuza are in great numbers and also, they can counter some of the upper management of the Yakuza." Sighing, Aizawa continued "Nezu, the big three will be joining in on the raid with their respective mentor's, and in the information that we got, we know that they have some kind of quirk destruction drug."

"I understand the implications. And also the three of them are not going to back out from the raid just because of this. They are future heroes after all." Then looking at the other four occupants in the hall Nezu said "I hope you all are ready for this, it will be a difficult fight. I can see that from the information we have. So be safe."

"Yes sir." Saying that along with Aizawa Midnight, Cementos, Snipe and Ectoplasm left the hall.

Nezu, who was sitting at the head of the table, got down from his chair and went toward his office. As he got inside he saw a man sitting in the seat for the guest.

Looking at the scrawny man, Nezu asked "What is it All Might? Is everything alright?"

Looking at Nezu, All Might said "It's just that, these kinds of things are still happening even though I worked hard to protect them."

With a sad smile Nezu said "You are not an Omnipotent being, All Might. You are a human being and human beings have limitations, even if they have quirks. The point is, you can't save everyone, but you can save the ones that are in front of you. Like Eri, you didn't know before, but you do now, so you can save her. And I believe that you off all the people knows it better, Symbol of Peace."

"I know, but I'm powerless now. I can't transform into that form for half a day now and they are planning to do the raid tonight."

"Then all you can do is wait, or you find someone trustworthy and ask for their help."

"Are you implying that I should get Gran Torino involved?"

"It's never late to ask." Nezu said with a smile.

Nodding at Nezu, All Might stood up from his seat and dialed a number on his phone. A couple of rings later the call connected and an old voice was heard [I know what you want Toshinori. I'm going there anyway as I also received the intel.]

Sighing in relief, All Might said "Thank you Gran Torino, I'm not in a condition to participate in the raid right now."

[Well the Symbol of Peace has to rest sometimes. We will take care of this, you don't have to worry.]

"I understand."

Right after All Might said that the call got disconnected from the other end.

Nezu, looking at All Might, said "I suppose, Gran Torino has agreed to help?"

"He was going to participate anyway."

"Excellent, that means the informant has some knowledge about the heroes who work in the shadows." Nezu then started to think about the possibility of whom this informant would be, but he couldn't come up with anything as there was no clue about them as they stayed anonymous throughout this debacle.

"Principal, I'll take my leave now." Nezu was brought out of his thoughts when All Might said that.

"You can leave." As he got permission, All Might bowed to Nezu and left the hall.

As he was alone in the hall, Nezu thought for a while and murmured to no one but himself "The break into UA by the reporters, and now this Yakuza. Is there someone out there instigating things to align with their plans?"

Shaking his head, Nezu went out of the hall and headed towards his office.

"How's it going?"

"It will take at least a month more to finish the product and it will take more time for perfection."

Nodding his head, the man with the plague mask asked "How can we decrease the time for the completion?"

"More materials. That's what we need to decrease the time, but if we increase it, the subject won't be able to cope with our demand."

Thinking for a bit the plague man said "I'll take care of that, you do your job and finish the product. The return of the Yakuza is near. I can feel it in me."
