"He really killed a guy right in front of you?" The pig-tailed girl whimpered, with Deku giving her a sombre nod. "That hand-guy must be crazy or something!"

"I'm just glad to be out of there." Deku relented. "There's no way I wanna get caught up in any more of their plans."

"I'm so glad you made it out in one piece, Deku my boy!" Gentle declared as he stood from his seat and pointed to the sky. "I propose a spot of tea, to celebrate your safe return!"

"I second that!" La Brava jumped with joy.

"You know what...I'd love a cup." Deku chuckled, glad to be back with two villains he was happy to call his friends.

As the three settled down into a private tea party, Deku took a sip from his cup before speaking. "Actually, Gentle. There was something I wanted to talk to you about."

"What's that, Deku my boy?" Gentle inquired as he poured a cup for a swooning La Brava.

"You know how I've been working with criminals in minor heists for the last year, right?" The young villain explained as he helped himself to a biscuit.

Gentle nodded. "Yes, indeed! And I am so proud of the progress you've made on your path of villainy."

"Thank you..." The boy chuckled. "But, you see...I'm thinking of branching out a little...pulling a job of my own making..."

"That sounds splendid!" Gentle exclaimed with outstretched arms, spilling tea from the pot in his hand and not seeming to care. "It will be your next step in becoming a true villain!"

"Yeah," Deky agreed as he took another sip. "But the thing is, I'm not going to be able to pull it off on my own. I need help...and I was hoping-!"

Gentle was on his knees and staring up at Deku with wide, watery eyes. "You want me to take part in your first official heist?!"

"Uuuuh...yeah?" Deku answered through the awkward situation.

"My dear boy...I'd be delighted!" Gentle hopped back on to his feet, laughing joyfully as he placed his hands on his sides broadly.

"I was also hoping that La Brava would want to help as well." Deku offered the pig-tailed girl.

"Where Gentle goes, I go!" The tiny vandal gave the boy a wink and a thumbs up. "You've got yourself a hacker, Deku!"

"Great!" The boy beamed. "Oh! There's one more thing! I figured I'd take you up on your offer, and was wondering if you could help me... make a new villain costume?"

The elasticity man gasped, his face creased with a gleeful grin. He suddenly drew the back of his hand to his forehead. "Catch me, La Brava! I feel faint...!"

"Gentle!" The pig-tailed girl cried as she rushed over to cushion the flamboyant thief's fall.

Deku smiled at the two antics. "I've got some ideas, but I need to get the materials for it first."

"Of...of course, dear boy. Take all the time you need." Gentle waved as La Brava struggled to hold the man up from under him. "And where would be getting these materials, if I might ask?"

For the first time since he arrived, Deku's face skewed up into a scowl. "Someone who owes me an explanation..."

"Okay, in my defence, I didn't know that they were planning on trying to assassinate All Might with a giant, mutant, monster thing!" Giran explained with his most charming smile. "Nor did I know that they were gonna try and kill a bunch of kids in the process!"

Deku said nothing as stared at the gap-toothed man angrily down a dark ally with folded arms. Giran kept his grin up until he decided that it wasn't going to work. "C'mon, kid! Don't look at me like that! Tell you what, next time I find you a gig, I'll be sure to know all the facts first hand."

"That would be nice...but I'm not here for a job," Deku stated as he reached into his pocket and procured a piece of paper, handing it to the man. "I'm looking to do a little bit of shopping."

Giran took the list and looked over it. "Let's see here...kevlar, carbon fibre, impact-absorbing foam... another Taser-Knuckle?!" The broker looked back at the boy before him. "Geez, kid! You thinking about going to war or something?!"

"...Something like that..." Deku answered ominously. "I'm also gonna need you to get in touch with a few people for me."

"Oh...thinking about putting a crew together, are we?" Giran smirked slyly. "Sure, I can do that! Anyone you got in mind?"

"Team Reservoir Dogs. They said they'd have my back, no matter what. I wanna see if they meant it." Deku noted as an uncomfortable expression came to his face. "Also...the League of Villains..."

Giran froze for a moment. "Really? I thought you'd want nothing to do with those guys after everything that went down."

"I don't!" The young villain made clear. "I just want you to talk to one of their members for me...Kurogiri."

Giran was taken aback by the boy's newfound brashness. The incident at the USJ must've given him some thicker skin. But, the gap-toothed man wasn't complaining.

He smirked as he caught a glimpse of the steel in the green-haired boy's eyes. "Sure, I do that for you. And get what you need. But it's not gonna be cheap! It's gonna cost you a pretty penny-!"

A large duffle bag of cash was thrown to the broker's feet. Giran was startled by the sudden move.

He looked back at the young villain, and not that he would ever admit it, but the steel in the boy's eyes was starting to rattle him. "W-Well...that should be more than enough. But, there's also the predicament of my service fee-!"

Another duffle bag of cash landed in front of the man. Giran looked from the two bags filled with cash to the boy.

The young villain was making it clear that he was not here to mess around. The broker figured that right now, it was best to play it straight. "W-Well, that great! Pleasure doing business with you, kid. I'll have what you need by the end of the week!"

Deku's hardened expression immediately changed to a sweet smile. "Great! That gives me plenty of time to get some practice in!"

"Practice for what?" Giran asked as he pushed his glasses back up straight.

The only answer the young villain gave was his kind smile turning sinister.

Drunk Lee and Master Beast, a masked wolf-man, went flying across the steel cage ring, slamming into the fence and collapsed to the floor in a defeated heap.

Their opponent bellowed with laughter as he towered over them proudly.

"Come on, guys! Is that the best you can do?!" Rappa challenged as he got back into his fighting pose.

"This was supposed to be a spar, you psycho!" Master Beast growled as he picked himself up, nursing his sore shoulder.

"You're not supposed to fight at full force!" Drunk Lee pointed out as he rubbed his aching ribs.

"Oh, please! What better way to get better at fighting, than to have a real bout!" The long-armed brawler declared as he bashed his gloves knuckles together. "C'mon! One more round! I know you got it in you!"

"I don't think they're up for it, coach!" A voice called out. Rappa and the two bruised combatants looked to see Deku walking their way, his backpack slung over his shoulder. "But I'd be more than happy to take their place..."

"Deku!" Rappa cheered as he made his way out of the ring, allowing Drunk Lee and Master Beast to let out a sigh of relief. "What's up, little man?! Haven't seen you around here much! Thought you were throwing in the towel!"

"Wouldn't dream of it, coach!" Deku grinned. "In fact, I was hoping you could teach me a thing or two."

"Right now? Sure thing!" Rappa patted the boy on the shoulder, which felt more like a punch to the young villain. "Master Beast was being a bit of a sore loser anyway. I'll bet he'd be happy to be your training partner!"

"No, Rappa," Deku shook his head. He placed his backpack down, opening it up to retrieve a roll of sports tape. "I wanna train...with you."
