MHA: Hurricane

Well, knowing my luck, reincarnation is the last thing I expected when dying. Waking up in a world where fangs, wings, tails, and extra body parts are a norm, is more unexpected. Heros? Villains? Meh, K. Amma do it but I can't guarantee that ill succeed. But my single goal will be to piss off people. I'll probably fail that too but whatever. ___ I only own the OC's and every plot twist I might or might not make. This is totally original. #Noharem

The Cat!

"Meow!"

Ayato faced down the dozen kittens that were gathering at the edge of the cage, his blindfold in place as his face remained impassive.

Which one should he pick?

"Are any of them to you liking, sir?"

The store attendant asked unsurely, surely because of his blindfold but he ignored her for the moment. If he wanted a cat, he would get the one most suited to be his companion... Now he sounded like an edgy overlord.

"Yeah, give me a sec."

He mumbled as he reached for the cloth around his eyes and took it off, revealing his silted eyes narrowed as he glared at the gathering of felines.

Most of them fled, some remained but their fur stood on end as they hissed at him, while one just sat down and stared him down without even flinching.

His eyes narrowed further as the stare down continued.

Finally, after what felt like minutes, Ayato smirked and bend down, picking the little shit up by its neck.

"I'm taking this one."

His smirk turned into a grin as he adjusted his blindfold and handed the cat to the attendant.

It had gray coat with yellow eyes, its ears standing straight. He didn't know what breed it was but at least it didn't get easily scared.

"Ah Chartreux Cat Breed, a good choice indeed, would you like a collar?"

He nodded, Absently taking the note of the breed and moving toward the collar section she pointed to.

Humming as he bent slightly forward in thought, he realized that he couldn't see the colors with his air sensing...

Well, this was awkward.

___

Anytime now.

As he waited, he looked at kitten that was snuggling his chest while resting on his arm like he just found the best sleeping place in existence. And yes, it was a male.

"Meow~"

Ah, yes, he agreed, he couldn't wait to see her reaction either, it would be great, hopefully, she liked him as much as he did.

Scratching the ear of the kitten, he heard the sound of the bell ringing, really, his enhanced senses came in handy far more times then he expected.

Leaning his head on the fence that was broken into just a day ago, he waited, absently scratching the little cat that he had yet to name behind the ears.

Soon enough, he felt the students coming out of the main building and then he felt Rin, slightly falling behind the group... Did she not have any friends? Now that was worrying. If she was being antagonized, there must have been a reason behind it. Did they find out about her Quirk?

He didn't get to dwell on it for long as the students passed the gate. Some of the girls spotted him and started whispering, which he could hear without even trying to but he didn't much care.

Sure, they may thing he was cute, but they sure as hell weren't.

Not long after, she came out, head down and looking at the ground... Oh, someone would die.

Straightening himself, he turned his body to face her and waited. Finally spotting him, she looked up, first seeing his smiling face.

"Oh, Ayato-"

Then she looked down, noticing the small kitten nuzzling his chest and froze. He could practically feel her eyes growing wide in shock and before he could react, the cat was gone and Rin was nuzzling her cheek against the cat's.

Ayato stood there, forgotten as Rin squealed in happiness, earning a meow the the feline in her arms.

"Oh my gosh! When did you-? How did you-? Awwwwww! Look at how cute it is!"

… That little shit!

How dare he?! He took him in! Gave him home! And he steals his girlfriends attention away! That ungrateful little-!

Before he realized, Rin jumped at him and he reflexively caught her, not even thinking about it as he did and received a kiss for his effort.

Hmm... Maybe he wasn't that bad after all.

"What's it's name?"

Shrugging with her still in his arms, he looked at the cat, which seemed to be making himself comfortable on Rin's... chest.

What he wouldn't do to be him right now.

"I didn't name him yet. It's a he, by the way."

She pursed her lips in a thoughtful expression while she started petting the cat for a moment, before noticing the red collar and her eyebrows rose.

"Akane!"

He deadpanned.

That meant Red. The cat wasn't red, even his eyes weren't red, it was orange. The only thing that was red on it was the collar.

"... Sure."

And he surrendered. Like a complete pushover.

"You didn't buy anything else, did you?"

He smirked, of course, the only thing that could get her more excited then a cat was shopping.

"No, no I did not."
