MHA fanfic except I've never watched the show or read the manga

Inspired by Denkidarling on TikTok. Also, I know their powers are called quirks leave me alone. If any of my other information is wrong feel free to correct me. Eliza goes to a school to further her powers as well as work as a hero. Nobody knows about her secret relationship with the villain Heatwave. At an interview, her secret gets revealed and she denies it. Soon her life becomes wild as she learns about Heatwave's real identity and her army of villains. Two of my favorite ships are in here Monoshinkami and Dabihawks. Again a lot is taken from Denkidarling as they taught me pretty much everything I know about MHA. The main character is my OC and I did make a few of the side characters but most of them are taken from my knowledge of the show. I wrote a little side story too but since the original isn't completed I can't add it on yet. You can find it under MHA fanfic #2 Zuri's story. I would recommend reading this one first but I like that one better. Also warning there is blood mentioned in both but nothing extremely gorey or anything (you can blame Toga).

Chapter 2

I passed out on the couch as soon as I got back and when I awoke again I was in my room. My roommates were talking out in the hallway and I put my ear to the door to listen.

"This is getting out of hand," Nico said "She can't keep going on missions with all her fans nowadays."

"What can we do about it?" Asked Jenny "It's not like we can just tell her not to go on more missions."

"You know, why does Mr. Jenkins keep sending her on those missions? We both know you're more qualified since water counters fire."

"She gets it done fast but you're right. Even for me, it takes double the time."

"Plus Heatwave never fights back. She always gets one hit in and it's like Heatwave doesn't even care. She basically just gives up but always manages to escape."

I knew they were close to uncovering my secret. I didn't want them to know yet. They couldn't know. I would be punished severely if anyone knew, possibly even killed. I focused and erased both their memories of the last few minutes replacing them with fake new ones. I hardly had enough energy to do so and nearly passed out again but one of them knocked on the door.

"Come in," I called

"Me and Nico were going to head out, maybe have some fun and we were wondering if you might want to tag along." Said Jenny as she opened the door

"I'm fine you guys have fun and be back soon," I said and watched them leave

Nico and Jenny were also heroes but they were less popular than me. They can actually leave the school. I'm mostly just trapped unless I'm on a mission. I decided to make the most of my situation and headed out to the garden of thought. When you're out there you're expected to be silent and just think. Today though there was a tour going on for new students and it was quite loud when I got there.

"OMG! It's Violet Skull!" One of them called

Most of them ran up to me and crowded me like my fans

"Let's leave her alone for now. You'll have many chances to talk to her later." The teacher leading the tour said and I smiled gratefully at her "Remember this is supposed to be a place to reflect so stay silent."

A lot of the students seemed reluctant but eventually left me alone though a few kept glancing over at me as I tried to relax. I scanned the group looking for my younger brother and sister who both got in this year. I didn't spot either of them but I saw one of my sister's friends in the group and nodded to her. She smiled slightly and tilted her head to another group who was walking past. I spotted my siblings in the group but neither saw me. I turned back to my sister's friend but she was turned away from me now. I gave up after a while and decided to roam the halls and 'accidentally' ran into my sibling's group. They were being led by one of the strictest teachers at the school and so none of them bothered me but I gave my brother and sister a quick hug before continuing my walk. When I finally made it back to my small apartment my roommates were back and sitting on the couch talking.

"Hey, guys." I said, "I just went and saw some of the tour groups headed around."

"We saw them too." Said Jenny "They start tomorrow right?"

I nodded "My brother and sister are in one of the groups."

"They both got in!" exclaimed Nico "Good for them. Remind me what their powers are again?"

"Well, Nina can fast-forward time and Noah can rewind time. They're both pretty powerful but the few times they work together they can do way more."

"What do you mean?" Asked Jenny

"Well, normally Noah can only rewind time up to 10 minutes in the past but with Nina's help he can go up to a day. The same applies to Nina but in reverse." I knew I had told them this a thousand times and I wasn't sure if they kept forgetting or liked listening to me explain it.

They both nodded and Nico got up to make dinner. We all made dinner once a week and Sundays are her day. The other days we had takeout usually Taco Bell as it was the only thing all three of us could agree on. Tonight Nico was making crepes and just as we had sat down my phone rang. I excused myself to answer it and found it was my mom.

"Hello," I said

"Why have you been ignoring your father's texts?"

I checked my phone seeing at least 5 texts from my dad

"Sorry." I said "I didn't see them. I was on a mission."

"I was on a mission," She said in a mocking tone "Stop making excuses. We need you here tomorrow for an interview."

"But"

"No excuses. I promised everyone you would be there. Your siblings are coming too."

I sighed "Fine. I'll leave early and be there around noon."

"Perfect. Interview's at one." She hung up without even saying goodbye

I walked back over to the table and ate my dinner silently while Nico and Jenny talked. As soon as I was done I got up and headed to my room. I summoned some colored pencils over to me and drew a replica of Starry Night, one of my favorite paintings. It only took me around an hour to finish and when I was done it was nearly identical to the poster on my wall. I added it to my growing pile with many works like Mona Lisa, Girl with a Pearl Earring, and The Great Wave off Kanagawa. I loved art but I had run out of paintings to draw. In fact, that was my 10th drawing of Starry Night. I was bored. My powers made it too easy. I just had to picture the painting in my head and the pencils drew it on their own. I sighed and laid my head down before eventually falling asleep.
