Chapter 4 Battle training

The next day:

Morning classes are more common than you think. It's no different from when we were in middle school. There is a foundation and a review of old content. Izuku could clearly see the boredom in each of their expressions. They want to be heroes—not academics!

It was a reason Izuku could understand. If the matter of All Might being injured and unable to work all the time were to come out, The destination will definitely be chaos. So each person walked in a line and picked out a random box. Izuku is paired with Ochako.

Once they are matched up, then it is a draw for the sides that must fight. The first Jack port split was for Izuku's team to be heroes and Katsuki and Tenya's team to be villains.

All Might sent the people who didn't fight this round to the monitor room. He will personally provide further explanations to both teams. The Villain team will get to prepare in the building first. Then, when the signal is received, the hero team will enter. They can fight with all their might. But if it gets too much, All Might will come in and stop it.

"This is Uraraka-chan. I want you to go look for the bomb. I thought it would definitely be just Iida-kun watching over me. But don't fight yet. I'll deal with Katsuki, and then I'll go help." Izuku said his plan.

"yes! But Midoriya-kun doesn't think that the two of them will be together. If that's the case, that's too bad," Ochako asked, not sure she could hide from the two of them.

"Katsuki, that guy can't just stay still. Plus, they're the ones who like to go solo. He'd probably come to us right away. So you can trust me. We won't find them together," Izuku assured. Ochaco nodded. The two review plans and test communications to see if there are any problems so they can be resolved.

"Let's start!"

As soon as they received the signal, the two entered the building. They will stay together until they meet Katsuki, so that Ochako doesn't have to meet her alone. Otherwise, it's bad. Because she will be easily manipulated.

"Hmm, it looks like I'm not on the second floor."

They walked until they reached the stairs leading up to the third floor, but there was no sign of the enemy. Maybe it's trapped on the next floor. But it didn't make them let their guard down.

As they nearly reached the intersection, Izuku told Ochako to stop.

The Killing Explosion King walked out coldly from the corner. If it weren't for the fact that he was worried about them being bombed in their faces,

Izuku immediately signaled to his partner that they could go.

Katsuki didn't let Izuku rest. He rushed over to attack again. But it was also the time Izuku had been waiting for. It seems that Katsuki is completely captivated. So he took advantage of the moment his opponent swung his right arm in a wide circle and dodged. and grabbed that arm. This time, there was no mistake. Izuku twisted his foot, lifting the hot-headed boy's body back over his shoulders and slamming him down to the ground quickly and hard.

Izuku used his legs to lock Katsuki's right arm, so he couldn't get up again. While thinking back to the day when my own quirk came out. But Katsuki was able to break free from his restraints and use a grenade to retreat to his feet.

Katsuki growled in frustration. That pebble dares to be absent-minded! Both hands release the force of the explosion and push themselves towards the opponent, who is confused by the force of the explosion in front of them. Then sweep the arm that is preferred to catch the other person and throw it back.

Izuku saw, and he turned and moved out of the reach of that arm. Then I punched him in the side until the other person was thrown away. before he jumped back and regained his footing. Then a softball appears in both hands and is continuously thrown at the target (thrown and created again).

Izuku knew what Katsuki planned to do. The grenade-shaped device on his forearm must be the idiot's sweat catcher. He heard All Might's voice screaming for him not to stop what he was trying to do. But the other party seemed to ignore him.

"If you don't dodge, you'll die!"

Izuku wasn't sure if that was true or a joke. But he knew that he wouldn't be able to escape if he didn't increase the amount of energy he was using in his body. But doing so would cause him to be injured and lose his ability to fight. Even any objects that could be created right now would not save him from the blast. Katsuki said it with difficulty. Because he himself was injured quite a bit from the explosion that came with the air pressure. He quickly looked through the rubble to find the other person. It was found that there was a figure standing behind a smoke curtain.

"I told you, I never looked down on you, you idiot!"

Izuku's voice shouted. It looks like he's still doing well.

Katsuki grits his teeth to suppress the pain and hurries to his feet. Lifting his undamaged arm, he prepared to fire another huge blast.

Izuku lunged forward and kicked the top of the straw-haired man's face, causing him to turn!

"Hey! Don't get ahead of me." Katsuki hurriedly followed, yelling until they were able to walk together. But Izuku didn't respond.

The two walked without any conversation with each other. Until finally, there was a crossroads where each person had to take different routes to get home. Katsuki stopped walking and spoke again.

"Hey Deku"

"Why did you just use your second ability until now?" Katsuki asked.

"Because I just found out last year." Izuku answered truthfully.

"Shit, I just lost to someone who hasn't been able to use my powers for less than a year. Never mind; I'm only going to lose this time. Remember this!" Katsuki announced.

"Heh, but the person you have to fight isn't just me. You can see now how different everyone here is from our old school. He's a person with real potential." Izuku warned.

"I will win too! Whether it's the girl with the round face, the girl with the ponytail, or the two-colored head! I'll be number one!" Katsuki said confidently.

"Well, good luck." Izuku gave a wish and then continued walking home. He had no intention of being number one. In his mind, heroes are not in competition with each other or superior to others. But doing it for other people reaches out to people in need. Because of that, he and Katsuki didn't get along. Because they had been going different paths since before Quirk even existed.
