Chapter 9: quirk assessment test

"A QUIRK ASSASSMENT TEST?!" everyone screamed in a questioning tone but I knew this would happen so I just stared in amusement

"What about the entrance exam?? The orientation??" Uraraka questioned Aizawa which he replied

"If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events." Everyone took a step back at the reality slap they got from Aizawa, but he continued

"U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes." The class just stood there listening to Aizawa's explonation.

"You kids have been doing these since junior high, too, right? Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your quirks."

'Ooh, that sounds fun indeed. hehehe.'

"The country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their quirks...It's not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating." Aizawa finished his explanation before speaking to me.

"Gojo, you finished at the top of the practical exam right?"

"Of course." I said with a smirk

'AAAAHH, ARROGANT SNOW HEAD!! JUST YOU WAIT TILL I'M STRONGER!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!' Bakugo yelled in his head

'well is it plain arrogance or confidence?? Let's see'

"In junior high, what was your best result for the softball throw?"

"Hmm? I think it was about 108 meters"

"Wow impressive. Then try doing it with your quirk." He said with an apathetic tone.

"HAAAY!"

And then Satoru stationed himself in the circle while everyone was staring at him with anticipation. Satoru, not minding the stares directed at him asked Aizawa.

"Any particular rules I need to be aware of??" He said with a childish tone.

"No, you can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle, hurry up. Give it all you got."

"Can i leave the ground without going out of the circle?"

"No you need to stay on the ground."

'tsk, so no going to a higher altitude. Too bad. But I can still do without it'

"Alright" Lets do it shall we.

Satoru stretched a little bit, loosening his muscles for the throw. He picked up the ball and set himself ready in a throwing motion.

And at the next moment, he took off his glasses while red inked cursed energy formed at the top of his index finger.

'Red is called a reverse technique because it's the opposite of blue, I literately invert lapse:blue with a reversal technique creating reverse:red. While lapse:blue has the effect of attraction, reverse:red will have the effect of repulsion. Using repulsive force, repelling matter in its course. And because it is powered by positive cursed energy, It has almost 2 times the destructive force of blue. But if we lower the amount of cursed energy used, to just the amount to repel matter and not simply destroying it in the process. That's why i need my eyes for this, to adjust the energy at a molecular level...Seriously, why is this so much work.'

when he was done with his calculations he began the throwing motion. And he did the same thing Midoriya did in the originals. Right when the ball was about to lose contact with his index finger, he fired his technique.

And everyone could hear him.

"Reverse:red"

*BOOOOM*

The force at which the ball was launched created a sonic boom, creating violent winds. And everyone stood in a daze at the power he just showed. Even the hobo was shocked.

"You didn't destroy the ball did you?" The hobo asked

"No, i held back" I reassured him

'YOUUU WHAAAT!!?' everyone shouted in his mind

"OHH!! That was the same thing you used against the giant robot right!! That was so cool!!" Said a certain overexcited girl to Satoru.

"Yes, I did" I answered

"How did you do it?! I also saw that you used a blue variant too. What does that do!! Can you tell me?!"

'She is certainly overexcited when it's about quirks, just like a certain green haired kid.'

"You know that it's impolite to ask other people about their quirk right?" I said to her

And at that moment her eyes lost a certain light which i saw. 'so she already got reprimanded for this thing...well not that i mind telling her.'

"But I don't mind telling" I said and she immediately turned to me

"UH? Really!? But most people hate it when asked about their quirks?? Aren't you like mad that I asked?" She asked curiously.

"... Daijoubu, boku saikyo dakara." I assured her [a/n one of gojo's lines "Don't worry, I'm the strongest]

"There's nothing you can do even if you know my quirk." I said nonchalantly

'Yeah he really is confident, huh?' Nejire thought

But life and energy returned to her eyes

"So, how does it w-" But before she could continue Aizawa interrupted our conversation

"know your own maximum first, that is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero." And then he showed my score.

2.28 kilometers

"WHAAAAAAT" everyone shouted

"2,28 kilometers, for real?" The yellow haired idiot said baffled

"What's this? It looks fun!!" The pink skinned girl said excitedly

"We can use our quirks use our quirks as much as we want! As expected from the hero course!"

"... 'It looks fun' huh? You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time?" He stared at everyone

"All right, whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential...and will be punished with expulsion"

...

"HUH!!!"

While Midoriya and everyone else was having a panic attack i enjoyed the views of despairing expressions.

'Yeah, just as i thought. This is fun hehehehe.'

"Sensei!! When can I go and kill All Might!!"

"Have some patience Shigaraki, The Nomu is almost ready. The docter said he can already hold 3 quirks and needs to enhance his body a little more to be able to inherit 6 quirks. Then you can go and kill All might." The man said over a screen

"UHH. All right sensei."

"Kurogiri, keep an eye on Shigaraki. He's still too weak to fight all might on his own."

"Of course, sir"

"All right, that will be all. Take care Shigaraki."

And the screen went black

"HUEHAHAHAHA!! I can't wait to kill you...All Might!!"

Shorter than normal sorry guys, but i feel like shit. My sister gave me a cold and i have a splitting headache. And it fucking doesn't help that i have a French test tomorrow, which btw I fucking suck at french. So I'll probably end up crying while doing that shit cuz i won't know the answers. But that's a problem for tomorrow
