Chapter 2, The Talk

It's not called the ancestor of pokemon for no reason.

I stare at my reflection for a solid minute, before walking towards Nami's bed, something has been boggling me for a while, why don't I feel any attraction towards my waifu Nami? I mean she's beautiful and has been wearing a pretty tight shirt, but I feel nothing. 'Maybe Mew's body doesn't have any sexual hormones?' I thought to myself.

Once I reached the bed I sat down on the edge in deep thought. 'Mew is always floating and flying around, why don't I try to also do it,' I thought leaving the previous weird topic behind me.

I put all my intent on floating, I feel this weird energy spreading throughout my body, 'this must be psychic energy,' I thought. slowly but surely I feel my legs lifting off the bed. I open my eyes and see myself hovering about 15 inches off the bed.

"Amazing!!" I shout in excitement, you can't blame me it's every man's dream to one day fly.

I start slowly flying around the room picking up speed with every lap. In less than 10 minutes I got the hang of it and could fly with a single thought.

Trying to not forget the sensation I felt whilst trying to fly for the first time, I tried moving the psychic energy and try using telekinesis, which was way harder than I thought. I tried to simply force the energy outta my body and wrap that around the object I'm trying to lift, which failed, miserably.

'What am I doing wrong?' I thought to myself, then an idea came to me. From most anime I watched, telekinesis user's put their intent on said object to move it. I looked towards the pillow on the corner of the bed and stretched out my arm and put my intent to move it on it. "move, move, move, move...." I repeated over and over again.

Slowly the pillow lifted off the bed, time felt like it was moving in slow motion, in a few seconds the pillow was floating 30 inches off the bed.

-3rd pov-

The door of the restroom opened and Nami stepped out with a towel wrapped around her chest ending at her high thighs. (A/N: you know what I mean. the basic out-the-shower towel look.)

Once she entered her bedroom with a towel drying her hair, which she dropped once she saw Mew floating with his arm stretched out towards a floating pillow. "M..Mew how are you doing that?" she asked startled.

Once Mew heard her, he destretched his arm and the pillow fell to the bed, he slowly turned towards her with a slightly panicked but curious gaze. "mew mew mew mew," he said, which Nami clearly didn't understand a single thing.

"sigh, wait for me to get dressed, and let's check if Chopper could understand you," she said whilst holding her head in disbelief, to which Mew just nodded. 'I forgot Chopper could understand animals,' he thought to himself.

-15 minutes later-

after a whole 15 minutes Nami was ready, she was wearing a black t-shirt with white orange on it, and white pants. "Let's go," she said to Mew who was still floating around.

Nami and Mew exist the going merry's cabin and head to the deck where the rest of the crew still were, each doing their own thing. "Chopper can you come here for a moment?" asked Nami catching the attention of the rest of the crew, except for Zoro who was sleeping. Instantly Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper appear in front of the floating mew with sparkling eyes.

"WHOA!! HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT?!" asked Luffy enthusiastically, "YOU CAN FLY, AMAZING!!" added Chopper in disbelief and excitement. "COULD YOU MAKE ME FLY TOO?" asked Usopp with sparkles in his eyes and eagerness in his voice. "ME TOO! ME TOO!" added Luffy and Chopper.

"ahm, that's why I called for Chopper, to see if he could understand Mew and get some answers," said Nami bringing the trio of enthusiasts back to reality, "when I got outta the shower I found him making a pillow float, so he could probably make you fly as well," she added fueling the trio's enthusiasm even more.

Getting more and more excited Chopper turned towards the still floating Mew and asked, "how can you do that? can you make fly as well!"

'I could probably do it, but I only used telekinesis once before getting caught,' thought Mew uncertain. Mew floated down to Chopper's eye level and started speaking, "Mew Mew Mew Mew!"
