The Fall of Olympus

The Olympians were caught completely unaware. This morning, the Amazons worshiped as they had for thousands of years. The gods felt the gratitude and love. Ten minutes ago, Paradise Island erupted into endless hate.

To the horror of the pretender gods, the Amazonians' power manifested in torrents of might beyond any of their power even at their peak! They manifested their power of origin. The gods of Olympus never imagined that after thousands of years of absorbing the power of the yellow sun, the Amazons would become this powerful.

Hephaestus left Olympus with his wife Aphrodite almost four thousand years prior. He chose to explore the vast universe and increase his power instead of remaining on Earth playing god.

Other Olympians also left Earth for the greater unknown. Some of the gods died, but others remained.

Zeus was still here.

Hera was still here.

Ares was still here, as were some of their descendants.

These gods were dragged from their homes. Those who resisted tasted Amazonian steel or felt the wrath of the Amazon through the power of their heat vision.

None of the gods were killed. At the command of Hippolyta, the gods could be maimed but not killed.

The blood-soaked Zeus, chief of liars, defiler of the Amazon, and father of schemes was dragged onto the stage. His wife Hera, a willing companion, was similarly dragged up and forced to kneel beside her husband.

Queen Hippolyta ascended the stage and looked with disgust at the so-called gods.

"For thousands of years, you treated us like slaves. You took us against our will to produce children for you and then robbed us of our memory of the babies we bore. Our husbands and sons you took from us and offered their lives to strengthen yourselves. Our daughters bore children for you. You stole our power that you might be worshipped.

A reckoning has come to Olympus, and we ask our new sister, Matriarch of the House of Ur to deliver impartial and righteous justice! Our hatred is too great, but even with our burning rage, we are of Krypton. Therefore, we will only accept Kryptonian justice! Sister, Siyan-Ur redeemer of the Amazons of Themiscara, deliver justice!"

All of the Amazons echoed the request, "Sister Siyan-Ur, deliver justice!"

A small ship appeared on the stage and the image of Siyan-Ur walked forth from the ship.

"I am Siyan-Ur of Krypton. A mother, a wife, and a champion for the plight of my people. When I came to this world and learned of the Kryptonian settlement on this planet, I rejoiced. Our home, the planet Krypton is no more. The inhabitants of our world are dead. When I arrived there was only a single son of Krypton here, and to my knowledge, he was all that was left. Kal-El son of Jor-El known in this world as Superman the last son of our people.

Then I discovered to my shock an abandoned daughter of Krypton, who I adopted by Kryptonian laws and customs. I became the proud mother of Kara-Ur. Other sons I adopted and then I found Paradise Island.

To my horror, Kryptonians without knowledge of their origins, were enslaved and ignorant. I sent my daughter Kara-Ur to share the history I discovered about Paradise Island. I also sent two sons, Tal-Zod and Vin-Ar to assist her, but bade them remain outside of the island. I respected the slave laws the Olympians forced upon you that forbid even proud sons of Krypton from setting foot upon your island. I did this so that you would know the truth, but let my sons join us now!" Siyan-Ur shouted.

The Amazons made way for Talent and Tommy, who flew up to the platform like princes. Instead of the hatred or fear of man, the Amazons looked upon the two young men with love and hope. These two men were scions of Krypton. Each of them was a head of a house of Krypton. The houses of Zod and Ar stood! The house of El stood! The house of Ur stood!

"My eldest son, Etan-Ur as well as my fourth son Gre-Vex await us. My sisters, allow my husband, of the house of Zod, to render judgment. He is more impartial than I, for if I were to judge only death and fury would descend.

"Judge for us Patriarch of Zod!" The women shouted.

Two crimson eyes were shown in the sky, and a voice filled the heavens.

"I have sworn to never kill again, therefore, I judge that justice be measure for measure. As the Olympians stripped the Amazons of power, so too they will be stripped of power!

Just as they enslaved the Amazons, from this day forth, for every day the Amazons languished in servitude, so too will the Olympians be slaves.

For each day the Kryptonians were slaves, the Olympians would serve two days.

For the murder of Krypton's sons, The male Olympians will die mortal deaths on the day of their freedom. The women of Olympus will no longer bear children, but live with empty bosoms until the day their service is over!

So shall my words become binding law!"

The heavens rumbled after the judgment. A golden light spread forth from Olympus and disappeared from the Earth. Only, the light didn't disappear, it became hidden from the eyes of all and spread throughout the universe!

Before the shocked masses of Amazons and Olympians alike, the Olympians who left and became lost in the sea of stars appeared! There appeared Hephaestus and Aphrodite the chief sinners against the Amazons.

Next, upon the wrists of all the Olympians, the bracelets of submission appeared. These were the same bracelets worn by the Amazons, only now, they appeared on the wrists of the Olympian women.

More bracelets flew out from the Power Pod Ship to make up the difference between the remaining women.

The men were also given bracelets of their own. Around the necks of the men was a necklace with the word "doero" (male slave) written. Upon the necks of the women was a necklace with the word "doera" (female slave) written.

The clothes of the slaves changed from the luxurious clothes of the gods to simple tunics of light gray. Their once-powerful bodies were weak and mortal. The Olympians fell to their knees and wept.

On this day, Olympus fell.
