Jiraiya and Drama

'Well, that was gloomy, and wet.' I thought looking through my window at my house after the funeral for the hokage. It was raining outside, and I swear I heard someone play sad music at the funeral…. 'You wanna bet who becomes the hokage next?' Fawkes laughed and said 'Sure, I bet Tsunade will be the hokage.' I grinned and replied 'I bet Jiraiya will. If I win then I get to eat as much Ichiraku's as I want.' 'And if I win, no Ichiraku's for three months.' I almost went down on the bet but I held strong and replied 'Deal!' With that three days passed.

The council reconvened when both Jiraiya and Tsunade both returned. Before anyone spoke up though Tsunade spoke up and said " We already discussed between the two of us and we decided Jiraiya will become the fifth hokage." Shikaku nodded his head and said "With that decided, we leave for the daimyo tomorrow." Everyone else on the council nodded their heads and Jiraiya thought 'Perhaps I should visit Naruto, since I'm here.'

I was relaxing reading a book on the couch when I heard someone knock on the door. I raised my eyebrow and went to open it and said " I got it!" Naruto in his room yelled back "Ok!" I opened the door and the person I saw surprised me "Jiraiya?" The sanin in front of me raised an eyebrow and said "Well I'll be damned, you look a lot like your mother Sasaki. You have her hair." I raised my eyebrow and asked " You know my mom?" He nodded his head and said "Yeah, she was very energetic even more than her twin, Kushina…"

Jiraiya had a far off look in his eye and I had my mouth open. Fawkes sounded surprised and said 'Well, damn. No wonder Hiruzen let you and Naruto stay together.' I laughed and said " You can come in." Jiraiya looked like he remembered something and went through his pouch on his back and pulled out a scroll. "This is for you, your mom asked me to give this to you when you were older. Is Naruto here?" I nodded my head absently and led him to Naruto's room then went back to my own room looking at the scroll in my hands.

I sat on my bed, staring at the scroll in my hands. I recognized the scroll, it was a standard sealing scroll. I then heard Fawkes asked 'Are you gonna open it?' I replied ' You know, if I didn't come to this world I wouldn't be much different from Sasuke. Both parents gone, probably would be brooding focusing on revenge or something similar.' I felt Fawkes nod his head and he replied 'I know, but you aren't him. You're you.' I sighed and said 'I know…' After a few moments I opened the scroll in my hands and poured chakra into it.
