Chapter 6

Yamaguchi's pov

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off in the morning. Since it was Monday, I had to get up and get myself to school. I checked the time on my phone to see how much time I had to get ready before meeting up with Tsukki to walk to school together. It was 6:30am and I start at 8.

Firstly I got out of bed and went down the stairs to eat some breakfast. When I got to the kithcen, my dad was there eating some cereal.

"Good morning dad" I said as my dad looked up from the newspaper he was reading while eating.

"Ah, Tadashi! Good morning" he said with a smile on his face before taking a spoon with milk and cereal.

I opened the refrigerator and noticed that the orange juice was gone, so I took a glass of water and a regular sandwich with cheese on for breakfast. I sat down at the table where my dad was sitting at to make him company for the moment. It took a couple of minutes before any of us said something.

"Where's Rika? She usually eats with us in the morning" I said because I hadn't seen her at the table.

"She had to get to work early today apparently" he answered

"Oh okay" I siad quietly as i took the last bite of my sandwich and made it up to my room. It was currently 6:50 so I had a while for me to get ready. I brushed my teeth, took a quick shower, packed my bag and put on my school uniform. I then got a text from Tsukki saying that he just left his house to meet up. I then put my phone in my pocket as i made it down to the hall to put on my shoes.

"Are you leaving for school?" my dad asked from the livingroom

"Yeah, I'll see you later"

"Have a good day my son"

I could see his smile in my head as he said that.

"Yeah you too. And by the way, can you buy some juice today if you have time?"

"Of course, now hurry up before you get late"

"Okay okay, bye" I said as I left the hall with my bag.

After about three minutes, I could see Tsukki walking, he had his headphones on and If I know him right, he won't take them off before we get to class. We then walked in silence until we made it to school where we then had English as our first lesson.

After a couple of classes, it was lunch break. I went to a bench where me and Tsukki sit during lunch and took up my bento to eat. The moment was pretty quiet until Hinata and Kageyama came up to us asking if we could help him with some math.

"Can you pleaseeee help me with this?" he asked Tsukki, he probably knew that he would get turned down but I guess he thought that it was worth trying.

"Can't you at least try to use your brain for one second? Oh right...you don't have one" Tsukki said as an answer to Hinata

"Pfft, nice one Tsukki"

"Shut up"

"Sorry" I said as I giggled a little

"I really hate you Stingyshima" Hinata said as he walked away from us.

I guess i felt a little bad for Hinata, but he could have predicted that since It's Tsukki after all.

"I'll be right back Tsukki" I said as I stood up and went up to Hinata.

He still seemed a little angry at Tsukki but there's nothing I can do about that I guess.

"Hey Hinata" I said as I tried to smile so he wouldn't think that I'm here to make fun of him or anything.

"Oh hi Yams! What is it?"

"I was just thinking about what you asked Tsukki. Don-"

"Will you help me?! Thank you so much!" he said with his usual bright smile

"That wasn't really what I had in mind. But don't you think that you could ask Yachi? She's good with math I think"

"Maybe you're right! Then i don't have to deal with that jerk Tsukishima, thanks! I'll see you at practice!" he said as I ran to Yachi's classroom

I looked at Hinata as he went to the classroom as I went back to the bench where Tsukki still was. He didn't really seem to notice me when I came back so I just sat down without thinking much of it.

- After school -

After I've had my last class I took out my phone as I walked my way to the changing rooms, it was practice today of course. I noticed that I had gotten a message from Terushima. For some reason I felt kind of happy so I opened the text.

Hey Yams, Idk if you're on break right now but I was wondering if you wanted to meet up tomorrow? Or some other day if you don't have time then :)

Me

Hi :) sorry for not answering but I was in class ejfoep. But yeah sure! It would be pretty fin to meet up. I have practice right now so I'll ttyl c:

I put my phone away and walked in to the changing room knowing it would be chaos since Tanaka and Nishinoya is there. After everyone changed, we made our way to the gym where Hinata and Kageyama already were. As practice started, I was trying to improve my float serves and Noya was receaving them one after one. As the evening of practice went on it came to an end and everyone said good job and we went and got some meat buns, me and Tsukki then made our way home.

"Bye then, I'll see you tomorrow. And good job at practice today by the way" I said to Tsukki before I went inside.

"Bye" he said as he continued walking towards his house which wasn't too far away from mine.

I took of my shoes and jacked, locked the door and then greeted my dad and Rika. I then went to my bedroom to pack up my bag, we had gotten some homework so I had to work on that later. I took a shower since we had practice earlier and then remembered that I would text Teru when I got home, which I obviously had. After the shower I decided to text him, so I took out my phone from my bag and went to the app so I could text Terushima.

Hello c: Sorry that I haven't been updating and stuff but I still have a lot in school and stuff.
