Wishes? Yes please!

In a dimmly lit, dark space was a rainbow-coloured, glowing, transparent orb, floating in one spot.

A soul. The soul of a former otaku, who was, by the way, slightly pissed off, to be exact.

'So... I died... And now I'm bored...

Don't judge me! 'Oh, how can you be bored? You just died! And how can you even talk like that?!' Answer: I have no idea as to how I can talk or even think, not to mention where I am right now. My best guess? I'm in the afterlife or something and there's some shitty new rules, especially made for souls. As for why I'm bored? Easy. You try floating in a dark place with minimal light and nothing to do! It gets boring! Especially if you can't move! Or feel anything! Or see anything!

Okay, calm down me, now you're just ranting...

Anyways! Now, I believe you know how? Good, then-'

With a *Ding* a blue, holographic screen opened in front of the soul, interrupting it's ranting.

'And hello to you, totally not weird, suspicious, holographic screen!'

On the screen, there was a questionaire with several answer fields to write in.

'Well, guess it wouldn't hurt to see what this is all about! Let's see...

1. If you were to be reincarnated, which gender would you like to be?

Well, I for one would definitely go for male. I was a man before I died, not gonna stop being one just yet.

2. If you could choose any world, time and place to be reincarnated into, what would you choose?

Hmm, tough question. Guess I'd go for Highschool DXD, 10 years before the plot begins and as a 8 old in the human world in amountainous forest area with a cave-home and a ward, warding anything within a 2 kilometer radius off, as long as I don't wish otherwise. I mean, honestly. I have read enough Fan-Fics to know that, if you were born into a family and have special powers, it's gonna be a drag to train them to an acceptable level. So yeah, no thanks.

3. Choose a look for your would-be life post-reincarnation. *Warning: Parts of the personality, knowledge or abilities may be transferred along with the looks.*

Definitely Merlin from the Fate-series. I always liked him, like, how can you not? As long as he isn't onto you, of course. And as for the carrying over thingy? I can only say that I can only profit from that! I mean, I already am a troll, all I have to risk is his... tendency to act in intimate relationships... and with who... But hey, other than that? I'd say it's a big boon for me!

4. Choose any three powers from any work of fiction. You may alter them slightly.

Did this screen just say any power? ANY? Oh, I'm so gonna take advantage of this... Okay, I would like:

- Archmages Essence: grants unlimited perfect memory, beyond genius-level intellect, capability to learn and use any and all types of magic and energy and a supernatural reactor, which could originally manufacture all kinds of supernatural energies, as long as a sample is provided, has been edited to also provide all non-supernatural energies, sample provided.

- All five true Magics from the Fate-series:

First Magic: "Denial of Nothingness": Allows for the creation of anything the user desires from nothingness, as long as provided with an according amount of energy and the required knowledge. Yeah, I could modify it so I don't need the knowledge, but then it just won't be fun anymore. Like really, who would do something like that?

Second Magic: "Kaleidoscope": Formerly allowed for operation between parallel worlds, now permits operation within the entire omniverse, including all timelines and dimensions. I'm not gonna get stuck in that world and it's parrallel timelines and worlds. I wanna explore different worlds too, after all. Also provides the possibility of granting an unlimited amount of magical energy per connection to the ROOT.

Third Magic: "Heaven's Feel": Not only grants the user an immortal and indestructable soul, but also the ability to use magic with just his soul and the ability to search for anything, as long as the user has or had a connection to it and it is within range.

Fourth Magic: "Phantom": Allows for manipulation of reception of anything the user desires to any degree, if trained to a strong enough degree. Going as far as deceiving the universe itself.

Fifth Magic: "Magic Blue": Allows for manipulation of and travel through time. Permits the fast-forwarding, slowing, temporarily stopping and reversal of time up to a certain extend.

These don't really need that much editing, because honestly? They already re pretty damn OP.

And my last wish:

-Power Manipulation from Worm CYOA: Allows for the creation and strengthening of abilities for yourself and others by using an appropriate amount of charges. Generates 5 charges per day.

I know. OP as f*ck. But hey, I'm gonna need it for what I wanna do. Aaand done!'

With that the soul pressed a "Done" button, which had just appeared, without even knowing how it managed to touch it.

'That's gotta be those messed up rules or whatever in this place...'

And with that, the soul just *Pop* popped out of that space.

-------------- In the world of Highschool DXD, Year 2008, ten years before the plot begins, in a weirdely homely cave room ---------------

*Pop* An eight years old boy with long silver-white hair, amethyst eyes, snow-white skin andlean but muscular, handsome build popped into existence on top of a bed. The boy the sat up, looked around, felt his body and hair, as if to make sure that it was still there, and then screamed:

"Yess! It was not a dream! Now I can prank all the people I want and learn all the things I want as well! But, before that I'll have to train myself... Well , it can wait till tomorrow, somehow I'm just really tired..."

And with that the boy laid back down, closed his eyes and went to sleep.

That day, all over the omniverse, several beings suddenly had a very bad feeling.

Just wanted to tell you that I came up with the concept of this fan-fic spontaneousley and will continue as such, if you have anything you want the story to have or include, just leave a comment and I'll see what I can do about it, but I won't change the book itself, since I'm really mainly just writing because I like to.
