Chapter 1: What is life ?

You looking at me, do you understand life and if you do .

Can you tell me please, I really want to know the answer. What is life?

It was winter, cold so cold people often forget that climate is such a weird thing.

Two teenagers were walking on the sideway, they looked around 16 for the girl and 17 for the boy but he probably was younger than that.

The passants was smiling and giving candies to the kids around them, it was Halloween.

"Seth, do you have any candies on you I am just a little bit hungry and also why are you so gloomy all the time?" Said the teenage girl while holding the sleeves of the boy in a teasing maneer.

The teenage girl was dressed as every girl would be on Halloween, she was wearing a yellow princess rob with some devil's horns and a jean under that to hide her fake jordan's

"First, you take your hand off me, then today is a day to celebrate Death not to be happy Alicia" Answered the youth named Seth.

"I am not a life enjoyer like you all if I have to say I am a hater" he said that with a confidence that could have shaken even the heavens.

"Fuckin boomer" answered Alicia with a disdainful gaze.

"The fuck you say about me" responded Seth with a angry tone before nodding his head in a understanding way " All girls are the same"

"Anyway, do you have some money? I want to buy some candies " said Alicia while pointing at a nearby shop.

The shop looked like it was coming out of a bad horror Chinese dynasty movie but it was probably just some decorations made by the owners.

There was a kid around eight years old playing around and an old man who seemed lost in his thoughts looking in his direction.

"I do have some change on me , let's go buy some candies."

In his mind, he was actually thinking about how he could steal the candies he will buy from her.

The two teenagers arrived at the shop and took a sit.

"Can we get some candies?" They asked.

The old man with his white hair and his phoenix eyes looked at them.

This gaze fell on them only for a second, but they felt like they were getting stared at by a emperor of some sort and just this simple question was a life and death trial for them.

It was however just their imagination and soon they recovered from the gaze of the old man.

They don't even remember how the candies got on their hand but the adrenaline inside their bodies made them run away as fast as their legs could.

They stopped after running for 30 or 45 min and opened their hands to see 2 candies( a Black and a White one.)

They didn't even have the time to take their breath when they heard a cold voice behind them asking " money".

Panicked, they turned their heads back to see the little kid playing earlier behind them and looking coldly at them.

Still on the shock and without even the time to think, Seth took the money out and give the entirety of his wallet without even counting and was going away with Alicia as if there was some type of demon behind him.

Then, they suddenly heard the sound of a car losing control behind them and then...

"Booooom!!!!!!"

The sound was like a strike of thunder during a sunny day and alarmed everybody.

Alicia and Seth turned their heads back to see the kid empaled on a nearby tree with his eyes livid without any sign of life.

What Alicia and Seth didn't notice was that behind the kid empaled on the tree stood the same empaled kid, but he looked almost transparent?

Somewhere a voice seemed to say:"hey you, yes you, you looking at me. Do you know the meaning of life? And if you do can you please tell me, I really want to know.
