Meanie Me!

" This is what I'm good at. It is a shame to just throw the healing potions after I made , so I decided to give it for free. The witches in this village do not want to take it if it is from me either so I will just make a potion for normal people. Atleast it will not be waste. " Veronica is smiling , mixing the boiling herbs in a big pot. Ingrid watch her beautiful mother who she realize how old she is now. He black hair have a white hair now and a line in her forehead when she smiles. Her mother who is kind and always ignores her mischievous tricks often.

All the witches in the village died and slain by one person. Blood is flowing down the mountain and the person who cause this is no one but Remus. He is wearing a silver armour, in his hand is a spear and a splash of blood is in his face. He is smiling, Ingrid tried to call his name but it seems he cannot hear, only then she realize that she is trap inside the crytal than he is wearing . She tried to break the crystl but it cannot be break " I told you, your crystal is powerful..." Veronica's voice is echoing in her head.

Ingrid wake up and she is sweating all over her face , her clothes is now wet with her sweats. The worried face of Veronica appear in front of Ingrid's face. " The village is in danger. I don't know how, but the witch hunters are coming soon to kill us. " Ingrid said with sureness tone. " Your ablitity to see the future is getting stronger...I have to tell the leader. " Veronica said. Ingrid hold her mother's arm. " No one among them is trusted. We must find a way to save the villagers. I once dream that there will be a landscape and it did happen. My hunch is never wrong. I did not tell you this before, but father did warn me in my dream before to never trust those wives of his. " Ingrid is worried. Veronica cried and hug her " You are indeed your father's daughter. He even guide you in the other world. You posess his power. " Veronica is happy to prove that Ingrid is the former chief's daughter.

" What are you doing Veronica?! " The first wife is having a meeting with the villagers that day and Veronica appear unannounce. She is confident this day and not like the woman who is weak and seems not to see anyone in the eye. " I am also one of the former chief's wives , am I not allowed here today? " Veronica is sarcastic. " And where did that confindence of yours coming from?! You are just a wife who committed adultery , you daughter is not his former's chief daughter in case you forget. " The first wife who is now the leader said and mocking her. " And choosing the leader of the tribe is not according from being the first wife but who is more powerful among the tribe. " Veronica said. " Are you challenging me? !" the leader said. " You are just the first wife but I don't think you are powerful enough to be the leader. Don't you think? " Veronica said in a mocking tone. " It is a good day to show the people a good show. " The leader said and get the long stick , at the end of the long stick is a clear round crystal that can be use to transfer energy and use to attack the opponent. Usually this is use only by the leader of the tribe.

" There is only one way to convince the villager, this is to defeat the first wife. " Veronica said. " But Veronica, she have that big crystal cane to defeat you. " Ingrid is worried. Veronica shakes her head. " No. It is not because she have that one means she is stronger. My mother said, that crystal is only made to be a passing through of one's strength. It does not make you stronger. The villager just mistook it to increase power so they feared it. " Veronica said. " But still...." Ingrid hesitate. " If I die tomorrow, will you cry for me?" Veronica joke her daughter. " What? You always told me not to cry on your funeral because it will affect the weather , and besides you said that the rainbow appears im heaven if a witch die. It is a reminder that witch is also gods creation. " Ingrid said while sniffing. " How can you grow up so fast to be an adorable being. I am proud of you Ingrid. " Veronica hug her daughter while a tear is flowing in her eyes.

The cloud above is now getting dark and a lightning can be seen , being controlled by the first wife. The lightning is attacking only Veronica. She is now trying to avoids it but then she get caught. She is laying on the ground now. " Your crystal cannot win against my power because you are weak! Hahaha...! " the first wife is laughing. Then a big bubble is now encircling the leader. " You bubble cannot kill me." she said. Veronica just smile. The leader chant a spell to call the lightning but it did not work. She repeat again and again and again but it did not work. She tried to pop the bubble but it did not pop. She is now using all her power through the crytal but it just backfires to her inside the bubble. " Oh. It is not a bubble anyway. You are now inside the wind. It looks like bubble isn't it? But is the wind. And by the way , no one can hear you from outside. The wind is now preventing your spell to be heard from the outside, literally, the lightning cannot hear you now. Only I who are controlling the wind , can hear you. " Veronica explains. The clouds are now becoming clearer. " But I never saw you use any spells before! " The leader said in a weak state because all her attack backfires to her . She have now wounds in all parts of her body while Veronica have a wound in her kidney side. It hurts like being stab, she is literally stabbed by the lighting. " It is not because I didn't that I am not capable. My mother use to tell me that my abilities are dangerous so my family did not allow me to use, to the point that they let me married to the former chief because he is strong enough to protect me. " Veronica said.

The witch who watch the show see how powerful Veronica is. " She is an elemental witch. She can control one of the element, the wind! She is powerful! " A voice from the crowd said. " Us north witches, represents the wind! She is the real leader! " One of the voice in the crowd said. Veronica lower her guard , then she felt a sharp thing going through her flesh. She felt a painful sensation at her kidney part, very painful that she almost become unconscious. She check who stabs her right now.

" Salma? , the second wife? " Veronica manage to say while is in on her knees preventing her bleeding on her kidney side.
