"So, Consultant Oaks and Dr. Banner, is there anything you'd like to explain to me?"

The Emerald Dream Plant Shop, the familiar sofa, Nick Fury... It wasn't a visit to pet cats.

As for Goose, Coco, and Moco, they had become the beloved pets of the Benevolence Society... The latter two even served as Antonio's bodyguards.

"So, Consultant Oaks, do you think Dr. Banner has the potential to become another member after you?"

"What?"

Banner scratched his head and looked at Oaks with confusion—

Although he wasn't sure what the Special Agent was referring to, his high intelligence made it clear that the other person seemed to be offering him a job.

Originally, Banner would sit here obediently to meet Fury because of the special relationship between Oaks and S.H.I.E.L.D. At the very least, he didn't have to worry about Oaks helping S.H.I.E.L.D. capture him.

And now, it seemed that Oaks and S.H.I.E.L.D. had more than just a surface-level connection.

"Of course, Dr. Banner is fully qualified, even without the Hulk factor."

Oaks raised an eyebrow, wearing an expression that said, "Why are you still here? Why don't you leave?":

"It's almost lunchtime. Director, are you treating?"

Fury took a deep breath, suppressing his anger reluctantly—for Goose's sake.

"You're thinking too much, kid. I came here today to tell you that I need to assign a liaison officer in your company."
