Chapter 2: Facing The Truth

It was back to business as the semester kicked off and Mavour had to take her classes along with Puppy at the High School. Mavour had her own matters to deal with when in the school rather than hanging out with her friends, frankly speaking they will be called acquaintances.

Puppy on the other had her own group, and for her the high school meant a place nothing more than just to have fun.

As the frist hour of the class kick started, in comes this guy Mr Teddy. Teddg was the one guy the class girls look out for. He was tall, cute and had a white tone qith a well- built personality.

Mavour'S eyes were cast on this guy, who was as usuasl late to the class and he was quick to latch on to the opportunity. He picked up a chair from its actual position and found ot a place beside Mavour.

He had the charm which would make any girl swoon over him and Mavour was nothing different.

By the time the morning sessions ended, Mavour found a new friend. It was a lunch break and all the friends gather at the dining to have a meal and so did Mavour and Puppy. As the conversation between moved forward, Mavour reminded Puppy of the football game in the evening.

"Hey, I bought the passes for todays game as you as me to", Mavour said trying to take out the passes from her hand bag.

Puppy was perplexed as to what she was talking and replied, "which passes? when did I ask you to get me passes and from when did I start watching football? you might have mistaken Mavour"

"Now don't try to pull my leg it was you who asked for the passes and I have bought you these passes after a lot of struggle" replied Mavour with a question marked face.

"No I have never asked for the passes and I don't intend to watch a football game in the near future. By the way I appreciate your care and love towards me"

"Okay! its alright I will go and watch the game with Teddy as he also asked me out for dinner "puppy had a sense of apprehension as she was listening to Mavour's word

"Now who is Teddy? where did he come from suddenly? inquired Puppy

"Don't you know who Teddy is? How would you know as you hang out with your people call and never did you care for anyone else in the class?"

" I do care for you baby ,and all the handsome guys, but I seriously don't know who Teddy is. You seem to be imagining things for yourself and designing a whole never Mavour-World what would you also appear to be weak, now stop thinking and get some rest" replied Puppy trying to explain her the situation.

This time Mavour was sure about Teddy. She was in no mood to give up and she inquired with her other classmate and the result was nothing different. No one knew Teddy.

Mavor got tired of all this and yesterdays scene started to play on her mind. There was this intruder into her home and the gift. Mavour decided to go home and inquire with the neighbour if they really received a gift as Puppy said

" knock! knock! went the door of Mrs. Michael, the neughbhour of Mavour, as Mavour went straight from the school to the door of Mrs. Michael.

"Welcome Mavour, pleasant to see you at our doorstep please come in" Mrs. Micheal invited Mavour into her house.

I'm not here to accept your hospitality Mrs. Michael,I would like to know did puppy give you a gift package yesterday?" Mavour jumped into the matter directly. Michael was surprised at the hasty manner of Mavour but sharp to reply just to what she asked, " Yes she did hand over me the gift package, it was intended for us but the address was mistaken to yours"

"Okay Thank You, Mrs Michael" Mavour was even more into deep thoughts .Now as she was involved in a deep mess of things. And as the thoughts grew deep in her mind, even hr body took an toll and she soon fell asleep on the couch in her home.

she was involved in deep sleep and not until Puppy returned home from the school she did wake up

Puppy's face showed hee inner sorrow, which was due to the physical and mental state Mavour was in. She could no longer let her be like that and thought of taking Mavour to the doctor.
