05. Get Lost!

The next day…

Lui Rong was in class talking with her friend, Shen Mian. 

"So, that girl is going to attend our school?! What are your parents thinking?! How is a hobo like her fit to attend our school?!" Shen Mian asked. 

She visited Lui Rong a lot, and both had bullied Tang Xinyi a lot in the past. 

Lui Rong shrugged when she heard this. "I don't know what my parents are thinking! My dad even had a private chat with the principal so that she could get in!" Lui Rong said. 

Her mother had warned her that she must not tell anyone about the Pei family, so she held herself back even though she was dying to talk about it with Shen Mian. 

"I can't believe Tang Xinyi! Does she think she'd become like us if she attended our school?! She's just an orphan! She can never compare to us!" Shen Mian said.

Lui Rong smiled a bit when she heard this. She always felt she was better than Tang Xinyi in any way possible and liked to hear it.

So what if Tang Xinyi was prettier than her?! She still had a family who loved her! A rich family!

Tang Xinyi could never compare to her based on these two facts alone! 

"Don't worry about her, Lui Rong! You are way better than her, and she won't be able to overshadow you! Besides, since she will be in our class, we can put her in her place together!" Shen Mian said. There was a cruel smile on her face as she said this.

Lui Rong smiled when Shen Mian said this. So what if Tang Xinyi was attending her school? She had many ways to put her in her place and make her wish that she had never come to First High School in the first place! 

Just then, a male student ran into the class.

"Hey guys, you won't believe this! We have a new transfer student!" The male student said.

"A transfer student? The college entrance exams are just a few months away! Who would change schools at such a time? And why will First High School accept her?" One student asked. 

"Yeah, Lu Ming, are you sure you know what you are talking about? Are you sure she's coming to our class?" Another student added.

"Of course, I saw it myself! She's in our class! And she seemed to have a lot of connections. She was placed in class B directly!" Lu Ming announced. 

Lui Rong's face fell when she heard this. She thought that even if Tang Xinyi were going to attend her school, she would be placed in class S because her grades were terrible. 

But she came to class B! What were her parents thinking?! 

The classes in First High School were divided based on the student's grades. Class A was where the most intelligent students were placed, followed by Class B and C.

Class S was the last class, and it was the class where the fullest students were placed. 

Lui Rong hated that she would have to study in the same class as Tang Xinyi! Why?! She was so much better than her anyway! 

"She got into class B?!" Someone exclaimed. 

"Yes. By the way, Lui Rong was here with your father. Do you know her? Is she a distant relative?" Someone asked Lui Rong.

Lui Rong hated that she was in the spotlight because of Tang Xinyi. 

"She is a distant relative of Lui Rong. Her parents have already passed away, and Lui Rong's parents have been taking care of her. They decided to change her schools so she could study well." Shen Mian immediately thought of an excuse for Lui Rong.

"Wow, Lui Rong, your parents are so nice. They even let her attend the same school as you!"

"Yes, and the tuition fees are so high! She must be thankful to your family for giving her a new life!" Another student added.

Lui Rong smiled when she heard this. She felt happy that she was in the spotlight because of Tang Xinyi. She could use Tang Xinyi to give herself and her parents a good reputation. 

Her parents were the lovely people who gave the orphan a new life, and Tang Xinyi was the poor girl who could only survive because of her parents' kindness.

Just then, the teacher walked into the class with Tang Xinyi. 

Everyone rushed back to their seats. 

"Everyone, this is your new classmate, Tang Xinyi! Say hello to her!" The teacher announced. 

"Hello," the class echoed. 

Tang Xinyi stood in front of the class. Her eyes scanned everyone in the class. She could tell that some people were looking at her with some ridicule in their eyes, and some were watching her in interest. 

She looked over at Lui Rong. What had she told the classmates about her?

"Tang Xinyi....say hello to everyone," the teacher said, nudging her chin at the class. 

"Hello. I'm Tang Xinyi. We have a few months to spend as classmates. I hope we can get along, but if you can't, you can ignore me," Tang Xinyi said simply. 

Everyone looked at her in shock when they heard this. 

Even the teacher was shocked. Finally, she seemed to recover herself. 

"Tang Xinyi.....you can sit next to…Su Yu," The teacher said and pointed at the back of the class.

Tang Xinyi looked over at the back of the class. A boy was resting his head on his table. He looked like he was sleeping. 

Tang Xinyi frowned. Could he sleep through class? She looked at the teacher. She didn't seem like she was going to wake him up. 

It had nothing to do with her anyway. She walked over to the empty seat next to him and sat down. 

The teacher looked around. "Alright... that's all. I'll leave for now," she said and walked away.

Tang Xinyi opened her bag to take out some books, but the noise disturbed the boy sleeping next to her.

He opened his eyes and looked at Tang Xinyi. 

"I'm sorry I woke you up," Tang Xinyi said to the boy when she saw that she had disturbed him. 

"Who are you?" He asked her.

"Oh, I'm Tang Xinyi..."

"Get lost!"
